Its the special team penalties which irks me the most, most happened well away from action.Bones is supposed to a great coach but his units are the most penalized in the league.

There’s nothing he can do. It’s just a fact of life for this team and always has been. There’s never been a year where Dallas has dropped out of being top 5 penalized.

Most of ours seemed to be mental, so can be corrected.
But it will never be corrected until it's made a priority and somebody refuses to accept it and makes people accountable.

It was a full-blown travesty that our kicker tied the NFL record and we were penalized because of improper clock management.

This is exactly why we don't win in the playoffs today's game was foreshadowing of exactly what happens in the playoffs differences everybody's really good then and plays like that are the difference between winning and losing

Cowboys got away with a couple, but the refs had heavy bias towards the Browns today. All of their penalties were pre-snap, which don't really allow for subjectivity. They sure had no problem calling holding on the Cowboys though.

The very first drive was a cheap holding call and then a blatantly missed roughing the passer.

Lol @ heavy bias. Did you watch that first half? At one point in the game Cleveland led in penalties 8-4 and had another declined. At said point the Cowboys led 27-3. If you're going to try to shank a team with penalties, maybe you don't call them on the other team and allow your target to lead the game by 24? Cowboys foiled the refs' plan yet again!

You have to call false starts. Did you even read what I said?

If you're a crooked ref you don't have to call anything, right? Because you're crooked. Unless you're saying they're crooked but not crooked crooked.

I read exactly what you said. You say the Cowboys "got away with a few" then list how the Browns got away with a few. What's the problem? 8 penalties to 4 in favor of your opponent and you're up by 24. Ref bias is what you're claiming?

Biased in the sense that they called more for Cleveland. It doesn't mean it was some conspiracy.

double digit penalties is a travesty but it can be hard to decipher real from ref assisted as the game was out of reach.
dallas playing so many young guys is a boon for most things but def a concern around penalties.
something to fix this week and to watch for next week.

It's just the first week, but penalties still persistent. It didn't bite us today, but have to clean it up, any thoughts on what MM can do?

why don't you tell us that the other coaches can do that are right there on that list. come on tell us how coach can make players not commit penalties, and how the officials are flag happy early on this year from what ive seen,

game 1s are sloppy and official trying to make point, mean Browns also had 11 seems to be an official thing.

but that list has a lot more teams on that list pretty much have the same amount of penalties or close to it. So call out MM but how about the GB coach 1 less lets them off the hook LOL

Because other teams should not be the concern Don’t you think the cowboys should hold their selves to their own standard. You worry to much in comparing to everyone else again trying to justify mediocrity

do you not realize that we're talking about this is an NFL game and all NFL teams and the officials crews they get, is the POINT.. the others team penalized as much shows it's NOT OUR TEAM OR COACH ONLY, its league thing..

by the way this is in high school or even college you're not sitting players you don't scold, or embarrass, bench ,or otherwise try and intimidate pro players into not committing penalties.

MM doesn't ignore them, he goes over them weekly and states to try and clean it up, but after that its out of his hands!@!!!~!!!~!!~!!@#!!!,

Oh so you're saying the refs were "biased towards Cleveland" in that they were heavy handed with calls against them. You seemed to be saying the Cowboys got shafted with subjective calls so I thought you were claiming the Cowboys were somehow special victims of officiating yesterday.
