Why is everyone placing blame on Wade for the false start penalties. 90% of our penalties are on the offensive side of the ball. You need to blame Jason Garrett he is offensive Coordinator and assistant head coach. Maybe he is the one that has the discipline problem

Ultimately, the head coach is responsible for the overall guidance and direction of the team, particularly in practices. The large amount of penalties suggest that the head coach is not emphasizing that aspect of our game in practices. That's why Wade gets the blame.

Garrett should equally shoulder the blame, however, along with Hudson Houck in my opinion. If they're coaching the offense and the offensive line, respectively, then they should be working on those things during position drills in practices.

your right and Jason Garrett is their coach Wade takes care of the D and Jason the O. Everybody knows that the head coach title is used loosely. Wade doesn't interfere with the offense. Why doesn't the defense committ penalties all the time. Yes I know the one game where every defensive lineman seemed to line up offsides but thats basically it

Undisciplined is taking unsportsmanlike and stuff like that, which this team doesn't really do.

False stars are stupidity...and you cant fix stupid.

They emphasized it all through training camp. They added extra emphasis in the bye week again and it's still happening.

How do you explain a guys like Witten and Kosier who don't have a lot of presnap penalties getting a coupe in the game and the usual culprit in Flo having none.

Like Parcells used to say, he doesn't coach penalties. And he had issues with this team also. You can't lay it all on the coaches.

What do you suggest the coach do? Break them on the wheel? There is only so much a head coach can do to instill "discipline" these days. He isn't going to bench anyone over false starts. Sometimes it just comes down to the players either not being smart enough or not giving a darn to get it under control. We could cut down on the false starts a little by snapping the ball a little earlier they we tend to do.
