Penalties

Are this teams biggest problem. We always score enough points to win. Our defense by no means has been great last few years but if u deduct all the flags you would see many more wins. When you are getting close to the Raiders every year in penalties thats bad. I dont wanna blame the coaching staff but someone needs to correct this.

The defense is going to get their fair share of penalties, just the way it is. They need to cut down the dumb ones, but the offense is where it really needs to be fixed, no excuses for false starts, illegal formations, holding (although sometimes needed), etc.

Most of them are offensive. Its bad and such a momentum killer.
