There were officially 12 penalties in the game for 91 yards, including one that was offset by two other penalties. Here is how they happened and at what point in the game. If this has been already posted somewhere (it's not on espn) than just ignore this thread completely. :p:

1st Quarter:

Time - 9:29

Andre Gurode called for holding on a 3rd and 1 from the Cowboys 27. Gurode held a LB coming up the middle. Jones lost at least 5 yards on that carry and a 1st down going over left tackle. 10 yard penalty

Time - 4:34

Dat Nguyen called for pass interference while defending a pass over the middle. It was a first and 10 play from the Cardinals 33. Dat pulled on the jersey had his left arm around the receiver before the ball got there. 5 yard penalty.

Time - 2:19

Izell Reese was called for an illegal block in the back on a punt from the Cardinals. However, it was negated by two other Cardinal penalties on the play and was re-punted. We actually gained about 17 yards from the first punt, but Reese still screwed up and we might have been starting near the goal line. Negated penalty.

Time - 0:42

Rob Petitti was called for a false start on a 2nd and 12 play from the Cowboys 40. Apparently, he was rocking back before the ball was snapped. 10 yard penalty.

2nd Quarter:

No penalties by Cowboys

3rd Quarter:

Time - 11:28

Torrin Tucker was called for holding on a 1st and 10 running play up the middle by Barber. This turned a 1st and 10 at the Cardinals 15 yard line, into a 1st and 20 at the 25 yard line. 10 yard penalty.

Time - 10:56

Torrin Tucker called immediately again for holding on a 1st and 20 running play to the right by Barber. This turned a 1st and 20 at the 25 yard line, into a 1st and 30 at the 35 yard line. 10 yard penalty.

Time - 9:22

Patrick Crayton called for a false start on the Cardinals 40 yard line, after Barber lost 5 more yards on 1st and 2nd down. This turned a 3rd and 35 at the 40 yard line, into a 3rd and 40 from the 40 yard line. 5 yard penalty.

Time - 8:53

Stephen Peterman called for holding on a pass play to Patrick Crayton. This one might have lost the game for us, because Crayton caught that pass and ran it down to the Cardinals 16. A FG was basically taken away by this penalty, because it would have been 4th and 1 at the 16. Instead, this penalty turned a 3rd and 40 at the Cardinals 45 yard line, into a 3rd and 50 at the Cowboys 45 yard line. The next play was an incomplete pass and then a punt. 10 yard penalty.

Time - 3:13

Lenny Williams was called for pass interference on a 3rd and 5 play at the Cardinals 15. It was first called a holding penalty on Keith O'Neill, but was later turned into a pass interference penalty. O'Neill helped make the tackle on the completed pass, that was short of the 1st down marker. Williams' number was never called out, but it was clearly his fault. 5 yard penalty.

4th Quarter:

Time - 14:55

Henson called for intentional grounding on a 1st and 10 play from the Cowboys 33. The pass did not get back to the LOS and he was going down when he threw the ball. 11 yard loss on the play.

Time - 12:21

Matt Tarullo called for holding on 1st and goal pass play at the Cardinals 8 yard line. The pass was thrown away by Henson to the right sideline. 10 penalty.

Time - 1:08

Stephen Peterman called for a false start on a 47 yard FG attempt to win the game on 4th and 10. This penalty now made the FG attempt a 53 yarder for Cundiff on 4th and 15. He missed...game over. 5 yard penalty.
