The Cowboys committed another 10 penalties for 108 yards on Monday night. However, the one on Henry was a VERY bad call by the refs IMO. Still, the Cowboys need to clean up this crap up and play smarter football.

1st quarter

Penalty: Offensive Holding on Dallas (Pat Watkins) - 10 yards
Penalty: Defensive Offside on Dallas (DeMarcus Ware) 5 yards
Penalty: Defensive Pass Interference on Dallas (Anthony Henry) 27 yards

2nd quarter

Penalty: False Start on Dallas (Tony Curtis) - 2 yards (half the distance to the goal)
Penalty: Offensive Holding on Dallas (Cory Procter) - 10 yards
Penalty: Illegal Use of Hands on Dallas (Marcus Spears) 5 yards

3rd quarter

Penalty: Illegal Use of Hands on Dallas (Flozell Adams) - 10 yards
Penalty: Face Mask on Dallas (Pat Watkins) - 15 yards

4th quarter

Penalty: Illegal Block Above the Waist on Dallas (Bobby Carpenter) - 10 yards
Penalty: Face Mask (15 Yards) on Dallas (Jay Ratliff) 15 yards

Absolutely. Plus Curtis had another false start negated by the personal foul. He has to clean that up.

So that's:

3 Offense
5 Defense (including the bogus one)
2 Special Teams

And all that with no false starts from the OL!

We could of had two more on defense with the face masks but luckily the refs didn't catch it

We have to eliminate the penalites, how many years is this going to be an issue. Gets frustrating, we had 2 big plays on offense called back for penalties and gave up 2 first downs on defense because of face masks. Not to mention the 2 face masks we had that werent called..

The false start on Curtis helped cause an eagle td. The penalty on Procter negated a long pass play to Owens and the penalty on Flozell snuffed a promising drive. They have got to get this penalty stuff under control.

on one pass they show Romo flip the ball out and they praise him for getting rid of it side-arm, and show the eagles player clearly hit romo pretty hard in the face. Why was there no illegal use of hands to the face? Especially when it happens against a Qb? They are supposed to protect them extra special.

Anyone else remember the play Im talking about?

Yes I do and asked that question to those watching the game with me. It was clear as day

I'm going to have to look at it again, but Proctor's hold looked pretty questionable. Did anyone else think so?

no that was pretty obvious, he had his left arm hooked around from the side/slightly behind the defender.

From what I remember it was a pretty legit call.

Don't forget what appeared to be two apparent facemask penalties that were NOT called.

Well-hopefully he learns from this, AND we get Kosier back in a couple of weeks(I highly doubt KK makes this play).

I want to see Holland until Kosier comes back.

That was a legit call on Proctor, although it could have been called against us and the eagles multiple times in the game. Same with facemasks, illegal contact, etc.

Penalties are a part of the game. Either overcome them, hide them better or lose. I'm not going to use the penalty against Henry as a crutch for why they scored against us, just like I am not going to say our defense was lucky at the end that there wasn't time on the board, dropped balls, McNabb missing open guys, etc. Same thing happened to both teams, we just dealt with it better.
