Penei Sewell Would You Take Him?

Just a month ago,when the Cowboys were floating around #3 or #4 pick . A lot of you were drooling to get Penei Sewell. Saying we need a OT ....Now at #10 Nope don't want a OT....Yet the player I'm pushing for OT Alex Leatherwood will be there. Leatherwood has played since he was a Freshmen. He also played top notch competition through practice and SEC games and National Title games....The players Leatherwood has faced is a Who's Who in the NFL.. I can name atleast 10 1st rounders he faced off the top of my tongue. Sewell gets all the love ,but Leatherwood has played the best...BUT!!! No one is talking about him? Leatherwood gets no love and he played Left tackle last two years.... So why is it you would love to have Penei Sewell who stayed out this season over Covid vs Leatherwood who played all 4 years?

Leatherwood has faced two 1st picks overall. Myles Garrett & Javedon Clowney, two 2nd picks over Chase Young & Josh Allen, one 3rd picks overall Quinnen Williams .....The whole Commanders D- Line is 1st round picks and Leatherwood has faced everyone of them...It was practice for some . That is even better because if you played football. You knew how to face off on certain players in practice.

Dude's a beast. There's a decent chance OT is the BPA at 10 and I'm fine if we go that route.

I think guys like Slater / Darrisaw / Leatherwood are all fairly close and 1st round talents so interested to see how they come off the board.

Also some solid options that might slide to round 2. It's a great year to get an OT.

I'm on board with Leatherwood at #10. His athleticism is off the charts. He'd be a great replacement for Tyron when he's done. Until then, put him at RT and move Collins back inside.

I love the offensive linemen in this draft. Of all the guys the posters have listed I could see all of them starting day one on this team. The Football Team, Giants, and Eagles have strong defensive lines. The reason why we lost two games against the Football Team and the last game against the Giants is because of poor offensive line play. Our 90 million dollar running back needs a line to do anything. It would be like drafting CeeDee last draft so half the board will hate it.

If there are a lot of potentially impactful players on the board, including OL, I'm thinking there would be a number of teams interested in trading up for him at #10. I would listen to offers and see if I could pick up a #1 in 2022 and a later #1 in 2021.

Ah, well in regard to Leatherwood I don't think there's any chance he gets taken Top 10.
