packers rodgers has been the most sacked QB this year yet they still put up points.

Yeah our oline is bad but our offensive scheme (slow developing routes and plays and too many option routes) isn't helping.

Rodgers has thrown 27 touchdowns to 6 ints and there run game sucks just like ours.

it is stupid to not fix something that is poor

Just because it seems the Packers are not fixing their Oline is no excuse for us to not fix ours

It's not fair comparing Romo to Rodgers. Rodgers is the best QB drafted in the past 12-13 years from a talent / tools perspective. He is the absolute prototype of a modern QB.

Romo is very good. Rodgers is Brady with wheels.

no im not saying not to fix it. I mean I want us to fix it. Im just saying our oline is bad but our scheme should be changed to reflect our bad oline. Were are the screens? gadget plays? and etc.

Rogers also has a slew of WRs that actually catch the football. This team has a ton of drops this season.

where is the running game which is putrid because our O line is putrid

you are just trying to come up with excuses on why fixing the oline should not be our #1 priority

Romo does avoid a lot of sacks too with his mobility. Let's say the Packers and Cowboys O-lines are equally bad--like someone else said, the Packers have a better offensive game plan and better receivers. Also, as good as Romo is, I believe that if he was given the trust and responsibility that Rodgers is given, he would be too mistake-prone to have the same success that Rodgers has. Everyone wants to say "see that! when Romo goes no huddle and plays school yard ball, he throws a crazy touchdown! we need to give him no rules and let him make plays!" after he scores, but they don't show that same enthusiasm after he goes "school yard" and makes a boneheaded mistake. Romo can be a Super Bowl QB if surrounded by the right talent and given the right coaching staff and game plan, but he could not do the things that Rodgers and Brady and Peyton can do on their own. He needs a coach who will give him the perfect balance of freedom and rules to get the most out of him. He is no Rodgers. There's no sense comparing the two.

No hes trying to prove that when there is a weakeness even on the oline, you have to be able to adjust. There are other teams that can. Garrett either just refuses to adjust his scheme or maybe hes just not capable.

The Packers have Aaron Rodgers, and the Cowboys have Tony Romo.

Just being honest.

no fixing our oline should be #1. Im just saying fixing the oline might not just solve our problem's. Yes we wish we could just run the ball and run the ball. But I highly doubt we move to a run run pass offense. Garrett is who he is someone who likes the pass. But too many option routes and etc cause for the qb/wr to not be on the same page. Heck there has been games were we ran the ball well only to stop running and start passing again. So just fixing the oline isn't the issue. We need a better scheme/ play caller and plays. Look at the packers on offense. Heck look at the patriots on offense. They keep finding no name wr's and they keep producing.

Im pretty sure rodgers is dodging plenty of sacks too, He is alot more mobile than romo.

So is it Romo's fault or Garrett's fault?

Well, it's not Romo's fault. You can't fault Romo for not being an elite QB. He's a very good QB, but he's no Rodgers/Brady/Peyton. It's the organization's job to provide the players with the coaching staff who will get the most out of them. Alex Smith is no elite QB, but Harbaugh was able to get the most out of him. The truth is, Rodgers will make more out of less than Romo will. You can't fault Romo for that. What do you expect out of an UDFA? But Romo might be able to win a Super Bowl if surrounded by the right players and coaches.

Well, I was just saying that even if the Packers and Cowboys O-lines were equally bad, Rodgers will make more out of a bad O-line than Romo will because he's just the better QB.

1. Rodgers is a sure fire first round draft pick. He's got the perfect body and arm for an NFL QB with the mobility to match.

2. His line may be bad but they are better than ours.

3. They don't commit stupid penalties constantly putting them behind the chains.

4. Their receivers are all on the same page and catch the ball when thrown to them.

5. His offense is not hampered by an average of three false starts PER GAME.

6. They all line up properly and snap the ball on time.

7. Their defense keeps them in games when they need it.

8. He has a definite home field advantage.

9. When they have key people go down, their drafting and depth keep them in playoff races.

9. He's got a coach and coordinator who has a feel for the game resulting in one of the most prolific offenses in the history of football.

10. He's got one of the most stable and well run organizations in the entire NFL.

Other than that -- spot on comparison!

So people are complaining that we don't have the best qb in football? Sheesh....

Online sucks.
Play design sucks.
Coaching sucks
Talent evaluation sucks (again it takes injuries to give guys like Beasley and harris a shot, and it looks like Parnell should have at least been given a shot over free)
Dline sucks (we invest in lbs instead of linemen, at least with inside lbs)

You can win easily with a qb like romo, though if ear this year we finally ruined the guy with ringing ears of footsteps.

Think about how injured the Commanders were on d too...its silly to blame anyone but Jerry jones.

Well, they have a far, far, far better QB and a genius coach. We have to fix the flaws to be competitive with our inconsistent QB and mediocre coach.
