Right. We should leave it up to the very knowledgeable mediots who are all unbiased and have ZERO agenda.

Zack Martin deserves the Rookie of the Year but him being an All-Pro is better.
Not sure if serious ? this has to be a joke. Bridgewater was terrible , if any QB was ROY it was Derek Carr. This is why the NFL awards don't merit anything anymore. Complete Joke.
As far as I can tell only one rookie was voted to the all pro team
Ten years from now, when Zack is named to his 8th, 9th, or 10th all pro team, and ODB is in his 2nd or 3rd season of hosting "Ridiculousness" on MTV, I will smile!
That's nonsense. The difference is you can see Beckham's dominance with the position he plays. There's stats for it, so you can comprehend it. Zack Martin was just as dominant at his position and for an entire 16 game season.
I disagree with that statement. ODB looked like an elite WR out there. He burned some of the best corners in the league. He has amazing hands and also runs awesome routes. This kid literally shocked the whole league. Martin had a fantastic year as well but ODB was flat out amazing out there. He deserved ROY.
He deserved it, but based only on the nature of the award. Not based on having a better year than Martin. No rookie had a better year than Martin.Martin had a fantastic year as well but ODB was flat out amazing out there. He deserved ROY.

If there was ever any doubt that OROY is strictly an award for skill position players, this year's results erased that doubt. They've given out the award 48 times, and a skill position player has won it 48 times.
Martin is the first rookie offensive lineman to make 1st-team All-Pro since 1947, and only the second ever. There have been two OL and 31 skill position players to make 1st team All-Pro since 1947. The 31 skill-position players includes 5 wide receivers. And of course Beckham is not one of them.Yep. It gives fans like ufcrules the perception Beckham had a better year. Every time he made a play, you knew about it. You saw it. The announcers raved about it. It often times was for points on the scoreboard.
9 times out of 10 when Zack Martin makes a play and dominates his position you don't see it. Nobody talks about it. You're busy following the football.
I had no doubt Beckham would win the award but he absolutely did not have a better rookie year than Zack Martin. I don't think I've believed the Cowboys had the best rookie since maybe Emmitt. I do believe they had that guy this year. He just played a position that doesn't interest most people.

That's a sobering thought.Yeah, the more sexy positions get all the attention . Just smile and be very thankful we have a one Zack Martin. I no i do....Hey it could be worse. Jerry could have drank enough Johnnie Walker to hit Stephen over the head and turn the "Johnny Football" card in.....
