Per Adam Schefter: Titans are releasing CB L'Jarius Sneed

He won 2 super bowls when he was with the Chiefs. in March of 2024 he signed four–year, $76.40 million contract that included a $51.50 million guaranteed, $44.00 million guaranteed upon signing, and an initial signing bonus of $20.00 million. So, the Titans had a pretty big investment in him.

In late November 2024, he went on IR. He started 2025 on the PUP list. Then late October he went on IR. All the time he missed was due to a quad injury. So the big question is, what is his health status? Some team might take a chance on him. Maybe even Kansas City since they are familiar with him.

Jerry,Do You Have An Interest..Any Takers?

Was Franchised in 2024 then traded to Titans for a 3rd round pick.
- Signed 78.4M contract in 2024.
- Played 5 games before Quad Injury sent him to IR for the season.
- Played 7 games in 2025 before Quad injury sent him to iR for the season.

Oof. I think I'd pass. Yesterday, Broaddus and Voch were talking about how the Cowboys may be steering clear of any more "injured guys". I don't know if that was something someone within the organization told Broaddus or what, though.

The Cowboys want to sign healthy players so they can be at OTA's and minicamp and hit the ground running in Parker's scheme.

Missed the past two years with a quad/knee issue. Seems to be washed but if he's cheap it wouldn't hurt to take a look.

"Should we take a look" lol
An aging corner who’s constantly injured is the last thing we need, sound familiar?

We don’t need any more injury-prone DBs. You only take a chance on a player like this if he’s cheap, but this isn’t that guy—he’s got an ego, just came off a big contract, and will expect more of the same.

At this stage in their careers, players like this should have to earn their contracts: a small base salary, maybe the veteran minimum, and the chance to make big money through escalators by playing every game and producing on the field.

If you’re missing games and not performing, you shouldn’t get paid. It might sound harsh, but for this position—especially given how injuries have ravaged our corners the past two seasons—it makes no sense to gamble on another guy who can’t stay healthy. If he’s asking for too much money, it’s an easy pass.

I’d say hold off for now and wait until after the draft. Players like him will continue to be cut or released around June 1st, but it’s usually after the draft when the next wave of movement really begins. Instead of getting more aggressive at the current spots, they should still look to bring in a couple of veteran outside and middle linebackers, even with the draft coming up. Just go get someone while there are still a few available who can fill in and provide that veteran presence.
