Per Jerry: Dez will not play Thursday

Just saw this on my twitter news feed. He said since the first team isn't playing, that Dez wouldn't play either.

I can't say I'm disappointed...I would have liked him to play if Romo was going to be throwing to him, but I see no sense of risking him out there to catch passes from McGee.

It would be stupid to put him out there and cost that ankle a good 10 days of rest.

We all know it, but you simply can not get greedy with high ankle sprains.

Not #1 yet...but in all seriousness, saying that he would play with the first team makes you wonder what our receiver depth chart looks like now. I think they will probably have Roy and Dez splitting time as the #2, and they may opt to use Roy in the slot when going 3 wide. I guess we'll see against Washington.

And when have you seen this formation used as our 3-wide set in a regular season game...Are you from the future?

All there is is speculation right now...we have no idea at this point who will be used in what role. My guess is they will move around quite a bit.
