About 3 o'clock this morning my entire family was awakened by very loud thunder following a very close lightning strike. Unable to fall back asleep right away I turned on NFL Network.

Had I not turned the Computers off I might have done a better job with these dates.

Michael Lombardi was on NFL Total Access and he had a projected dates for the NFL Calendar.

He believes team facilities will open on July 15. I can see it. This looks like their targeted date by oth sides.

Undrafted Free Agents will begin to sign on July 16. I believe he is wrong on this. I think the NFL will start Free Agency for established players before they will allow UDFA signings.

League Yer begins July 23rd. Again, I think he has this backwards with the UDFA signings. Plus I think teams will demand the extra time to sign their Draft picks. I also think the League year will start on July 15th wen they open the doors.

Now, part of his argument for this is he believes the NFL will hold a League wide meeting on July 18th to discuss rookie pools, caps, bonuses and how they will count, etc. I can see this, but I think they are already discussing it.

OTAs begin July 23rd. Surprised that they would even consider having any. He says the only way unsigned draft picks can work out is OTAs, so that makes some sense.

Training camps open on July 27th.
No PS or regular season games lost.
