The Raiders getting Harbaugh would be an interesting development. Franchise QB in place and WR Amari Cooper waiting in the wings. Their rookie RB Murray looks more potent and dangerous than ours, though that's not really fair (not enough body of work, but still.) Khalil Mack is living up to his pre-draft hype. Throw in Harbaugh and a fresh draft, maybe they finally make their way back to contention.

Another tid-bit I've heard is that Harbaugh's wife does not want to leave the Bay Area.

What are you basing that on? That is a strange conclusion to come to based on the year DeMarco is having. Plus DeMarco has his own 90+ TD run in his career and just like Latavius it came his rookie season.

I thought trading coaches for draft picks is against the rules after the Gruden trade happened.

I'm still unclear about this. The above link says the NFL put an end to it in 2003 after the Gruden deal; however, in 2006 the Jets received a 4th round pick from the Chiefs after they hired Herm Edwards as their coach. He still had 2 years left on his contract with New York. Maybe it is all in the wording. While they are trades, they are not officially called trades.
