The league, not NBC, has the final say, so I find this a tad surprising. Maybe the alternative (non-protected) games sucked just as much. This also means the Dal-Philly game will not be flexed.

Nope.

The max NBC games a team is allowed is four.

Washington would be #3.

Could still be flexed, esp if it's a win and in scenario.

What I meant is that they're not gonna feature the Cowboys two weeks in a row. IMO, they should have moved the Wash game and flexed the Philly game.

that makes sense but I have to imagine fox would fight tooth and nail for that game.

I can only imagine the ratings bonanza for what could be Dallas blowing another season in jerrys new building to the same team as last year.

oh and be sure to shoot me if that happens please.

They have had the same team two weeks in a row before. I believe it was NE in 2007. I know NBC would love that game, but can't imagine Fox would let them anywhere near it.

Networks can't protect any games in the last week of the season.

Then I imagine Fox would be pretty pissed off losing 4 of Dallas' division games to NBC.

Plus two to CBS, one to ESPN, and one more to NFLN.

Is there even a Sunday night game for the last week of the season? As of right now, there is not even a game scheduled for that night. All games are scheduled for Sunday day games.

I thought I read somewhere that they can't have a Sunday night game between the same teams twice in one season so that would rule Dallas-Philly WK 17 out.

On wk 17 anything is fair game.
