Perceptions/Media

I think you're being a tad sensitive here.

Just like every fanbase thinks Aikman and Buck hate their team.

Just found this to be curious. I’ve read several mock drafts, 247 Sports being one of them, but I’ve noticed the wording differs. When it’s the Jets or Jags or other teams with worse or similar records, there’s very little judgement on the franchises as a whole, just things like “to beef up their secondary, so-and-so will draft...”. When they get to Dallas, it’s basically “Dallas has so many issues, and they’ll still be weak, no matter who they pick, but...”

Sure, we have issues, and we DO need lots of help, but it’s amusing to me how they overdramatize the issues in Big D, like the Cowboys are lower than perennial dumpster fires like the Jets or Jags. No biggie, just makes me eye roll and chuckle. You?

It's almost like the front office we have today is the same we've had for 25 years of failure and those other teams are constantly changing theirs to find the right combination so you can't compare them.

Link to the 24 7 mock draft. There are comments that other fans can nitpick too. SF and Denver as examples.

Thanks. Didn’t read the whole thing—a common mistake among internet “crusaders”. I’m sure they’re critical of certain other teams—let’s face it, negativity sells better—but my whole point was that teams with worse records, that are drafting before us, are criticized less. Price you pay for the whole “America’s Team” moniker!

Had this in the main forum, but it got moved here. Why? To bury it? Interesting that commentary by some members gets maximum exposure, but others...

Pick and choose censorship!
