I think the Cowboys number 1 priority is to upgrade the OL and DL lines but I also think their receiver situation after Bryant is not too solid. Austin is alway hurt. Not that the Vikings would have interest in Austin, but I'd try to trade Austin and a draft pick for Harvin.

Trading Austin and a pick for harvin?

That is crazy talk.

I'd trade Austin for Harvin straight up, but wouldn't give up a pick as well. Harvin is better than Austin, IMO.

Trading one headache for another doesn't seem lke moving forward to me.

Harvin wants to get paid big-time going into the last year of his rookie contract so I don't see how we could afford him. I also don't see how MIN would want Austin when he's so injury-prone and has 4 years and $30 mil left on his contract.

Harvin does have his problems staying on the field just like Austin but he is such an upgrade I'd do this in a second even throwing in a pic, I see no way this happens though

Right. The Vikings wouldn't do it.

considering what Jimmy did to the Vikings I bet there is a pretty much unwritten rule that all Viking GMs have which is

"NEVER TRADE WITH THE COWBOYS"

Well then they're missing out. Ask the Seahawks and Lions.

Are you kidding me? Harvin is just as much of a glass man as Austin. The guy missed like half of last season due to injury. I like his playmaking ability, but if he can't stay on the field then he's useless

Please pass what you are smoking. Harvin is a game changer, one of the best players in the league when healthy. Austin not so much. If Minnesotta was stupid enough to do that then by all means go for it.

I think Harvin is a top 5 receiver when healthy but he would be a bad fit here with Garrett calling plays.

so you would trade Austin and a pick for a guy who misses more time than him and puts up fewer yards and TDs?.....cant argue that logic

Harvin is 24 years old. Seriously.

If you could get him for Austin and 3rd, you take that trade. This team needs a serious deep threat.

If we got Harvin, he'd be here a heckuva lot longer than Garrett will.

I wouldn't.

Austin is way better than people think.

Perfect chemistry in the locker room and with romo.

I will take Austin over harvin.

Probably in the minority but I am happy to be in this case.
