We clearly have a target on our back each week playing our brethren in the NFC beast.
It gets real after the cut to 53 speedy recovery Mr Hitchens.

Giants
WHY WE’RE GOING ALL THE WAY
Because the Giants already had a championship-caliber defense in 2016. Now, with Brandon Marshall and Evan Engram they have significantly upgraded what they have on offense. And regardless of what outsiders think, I still believe Eli Manning has enough left in the tank to win big games.

THE SEASON IS HOPELESS IF [THIS] HAPPENSTwo things: 1. If offensive tackles Ereck Flowers and Bobby Hart are as bad as they were last year; and 2. If Manning gets hurt. The Giants are not winning big games with Josh Johnson, Geno Smith, or rookie Davis Webb at quarterback in 2017.

WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST RIVAL AND WHY?That’s gotta be a toss-up on the hatred scale between the Eagles and Cowboys. The only reason I’d give the "edge" to the Cowboys and their entitled fan base is that the Cowboys have actually won a few things.

Eagles
WHY WE’RE GOING ALL THE WAY
The Eagles were a little better in 2016 than most realize. The team is naturally bound to improve after suffering a lot of close losses last year. Carson Wentz figures to take a big leap, especially after the Eagles surrounded him with legitimate weapons to work with moving forward. Meanwhile, Jim Schwartz’s defense features one of the best lines in the league, one that should be able to get after quarterbacks with regularity.

THE SEASON IS HOPELESS IF [THIS] HAPPENSThe Eagles had the NFL’s worst wide receiving corps last year. The addition of Alshon Jeffery changes that picture, but it’ll be back to the drawing board if the oft-injured receiver misses any time. The Eagles’ running back situation is also shaky. It’s unclear who the starter will even be. LeGarrette Blount hasn’t had a great preseason. Wendell Smallwood has been the best of the running backs, but he’s struggled to stay healthy. An unreliable game means Wentz will be pressured into carrying the team with his arm on a weekly basis.

WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST RIVAL AND WHY?Easy answer: the Cowboys. Philly fans just hate Dallas. Go to any thread on Bleeding Green Nation and you won’t have to look hard to find a comment along the lines of "Dallas Sucks!" These two teams have had a number of good battles in recent seasons. The Wentz vs. Dak Prescott element is only taking the rivalry to a new level.

Commanders
WHY WE’RE GOING ALL THE WAY
In 2016, the offense failed to get touchdowns inside the red zone with alarming consistency, and the defense couldn’t get off the field on third downs. Enter Terrelle Pryor, Josh Doctson, and Samaje Perine on offense. The bigger, stronger, more physical players should aid Kirk Cousins when it comes to scoring seven points instead of three. Enter Jonathan Allen, D.J. Swearinger, Zach Brown, and Junior Galette on defense. The youth and athleticism of the new additions will positively impact what was a soul-crushing facet of a subpar defense last year.

THE SEASON IS HOPELESS IF [THIS] HAPPENSIf Kirk Cousins gets injured, the team is screwed ... and I guess so is Kirk, since he is on a one-year deal. Jay Gruden has really created a successful mind meld with the quarterback. Kirk is comfortable in this offense, and he has weapons. Neither Colt McCoy nor Nate Sudfeld could come in and run this offense for an extended period the way that Cousins can, and the lack of offensive production would doom a young defense that is counting on help in the time-of-possession department.

WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST RIVAL AND WHY?The Dallas Cowboys. The rivalry is rooted in the formation of the Dallas franchise. Washington owner George Preston Marshall famously opposed the awarding of a team to Dallas. Clint Murchison, the oil tycoon trying to put a team in Dallas, came into ownership of the rights to Washington’s famous fight song. Marshall and the Washington band director, Barnee Breeskin, had a falling out, and Breeskin sold the rights to the music to Murchison out of revenge. Marshall traded his approval vote for the rights to the music, and the Cowboys were born.

Yep. The rivalry started with them from the very beginning.

I had never heard this one also. For me I have most passion against Philly, Giants, and Skins. Green Bay is not on the radar at this time.

Old/dirty money teams against the 'new' business approach. This is what the other team's see:

As you see here - well above - all of the other 3 teams have the Cowboys as their biggest rival.
As likely do 5+ other NFL teams: SF, Houston come to mind immediately.
Part of the challenge us us competing in the salary cap era is teams get up for us more than anyone else.

Old stuff makes no dirty dirty here now, except for fans.
This stuff is business and strictly business nowadays.
Old stuff is background scenery meant for window dressing on things that they can use to make it so for us gullible and accepting public.

This is the truth.

It's time to start thinking on another level.

Yes. At the time, the only team that was on national television throughout much of the southern U.S. was Washington. The Cowboys were founded in 1960 and after huge success, the Atlanta Falcons followed in 1965.

Fun fact -- my Cowboys fandom is thanks to my dad, who grew up in Georgia in the 1960s and 1970s. The only team that was on TV, most of the time, was the Dallas Cowboys -- the Falcons, despite being "local", weren't that great, and the local affiliate stuff and TV contract stuff didn't really exist back then.

When my granddad returned from his first stint in Vietnam, he bought the family a color TV for the first time. My 10-year-old dad immediately fell in love even more with the team because of the blue and silver and the star on the helmet.

1) Hate the Commanders, I don't need a reason, hate them
2) Giants, their scum-bag owner needs to worry about things in life other than solely worrying about how to screw Dallas
3) Eagles, I live in Eagles territory and really, they are a mindless bunch of trolls...I used to want them to be a .500 team so their first round pick was mid-round, but they draft horribly, so, they can go 4-12 and I am happy (their 4 wins are two each against wash & NYG)
4) New England f'ing Patriots - I cannot STAND cheaters and nothing will ever sway me from that thought, that they breath, and thus, they cheat....and their little troll head coach...ugh
