The Giants started the 2022 season 6-1. The next week, they played the Cowboys.

Since their 6-1 start, they have a record of 4-8-1 in their last 13 games, including the two playoff games last season. Against the NFC east, they are 0-3 vs. both the Eagles and Cowboys, and 1-0-1 against the Commanders - about a 19% win rate.

So tap the brakes just a little before getting overly exuberant over the win Sunday night.

Gross. However, beating anyone in today's NFL without giving up a single point is impressive. Even a bad team.

The Cowboys have beaten the Giants 11 straight times with Dak. NY is in the same division you would think they would luck in and win at least 3 games. The Cowboys beat them 40-0 on the road. At the very least the Giants are an average NFL team. Very impressive. The Jets beat Buffalo the next night after Rodgers went out after 4 plays. Buffalo is clearly better but has lost two of the last 3 times they played.

The Cowboys won their season opener. On the road against a dividion rival.

Additionally the defense, special teams and offense all scored touchdowns.

Because of that they won 40-0 making it the biggest shutout in the teams history.

I'm not only not tapping the brakes, I'm not even looking for the damn peddle.

This team is a team of destiny. The Giants are a very talented well coached team. The Giants will steamroll the Cardinals this week. I would not be surprised if they upset SF on a short week.
We have the best defense in the league hands down. I don't see a team scoring more than 14 pts on us all season. This offense has matured into an unstoppable force. The SB is ours. Make your travel plans now. Vegas, here we come!!

And the Eagles should tap the brakes on feeling good about two and O because of who they played I mean give me a break Minnesota Vikings basically gave the game away the New England Patriots same thing the Eagles don't look good in these wins and I all that matters is the wins but I get tired of hearing breaking down our wins and losses and telling us to tap the brakes the Eagles do not look like the same team on offense or defense they're still good but they're not last year's Eagles... So my opinion I think we've gotten slightly better I think we have the edge this year but I could be wrong it's all hyperbole right now but I believe our team took that small step forward and they took that small step backwards to where now it's just about how we're gonna play head to head.. We must get home field and win this division that will be the edge we need so the regular season matters a lot....

But no way do I have big head syndrome after game one I don't know how anybody has to say tap the brakes it was a avalanche it happens sometimes in games.. It was a great team effort though people keep talking about how great the defense played and the offense didn't need to do much look the special teams are actually the hero of of the game they technically scored 16 points the offense scored twelve points the defense basically accounted for 12 points..
In my opinion adding the coaching and that's a total team effort and a win stop choosing sides we were pretty good all around team regardless of the score at the end....

Not tapping brakes but I didn't floor it either. It's a long season.
