On 10/6/2024, I found out I was having my first child. On 5/13/2025, at 35 weeks, my son Jack left us for Heaven. We will never get an answer as to why either. The toll it has taken, and will continue to take on my wife and I is unimaginable. You’d have to literally have lost a child to understand this level of pain.

What I’m getting at is yeah, a lot of people are mad Micah is gone. I’m one of those Cowboys fans that hasn’t seen us even make it to an nfc championship game (36yrs old) so while I like the haul we got, it’s still hard knowing another season just got thrown away.

There are bigger things in life than a billionaire and a millionaires personal beef with eachother. I hope we win a thousand games straight, but always put things in perspective. We all love this team, but losing my son really has shown me what matters and what doesn’t. The Jerry and Micah saga means nothing in the grand scheme of life, and if it does for you, consider yourself extremely lucky that their beef and our season is your biggest issue.

God Bless

Can’t even imagine what you are and continue to go through.

Hopefully you and your family have a strong faith that will carry you forward-prayers and this was a great post. Lots of folks here could learn from this
