I had a couple of pet cats:

Zaviar Gooden

and

Khaseem Green

Obviously, Gooden knocked it out of the park. He's as athletic a LB as you will ever find. His instincts are still growing and he's still learning the position, but he runs like a CB at 235 pounds. I hope we find a way to get him.

Green is a better football player than Gooden but not quite the athlete. Still, Green is extremely athletic for a LB and as a converted safety, he is great in coverage. He should be drafted before Gooden and could probably start pretty quickly.

Gooden on the other hand, would have to learn the ropes as he goes along. However, Kiffin's scheme is very easy to learn and leans heavily on athleticism, so he should be able to help sooner rather than later.

Sounds like the perfect RG3 and Eagle spy.

I know a lot of people around here don't consider OLB a priority, but I think it has to be, especially if Philly is going to go with Vick and Dixon. I can't see us not taking one of those guys in the first three rounds...I like Greene and Brown from KSU, but there are a handful of guys I think could be a very good fit.

I'll be really disappointed in this draft if we don't come away with a starters at OLB, G, and either a DT or S.

Swope, fast. We can get him at a discount as measured against his 4.34 time.

Pretty obvious that I love Tavon Austin and even though my mind says we need help in the trenches my heart says I want Austin.

With that said if we passed on him (as I imagine we will)...I would like to get his team mate Stedman Bailey at WR in the later rounds as he has exceptional hands and route running although his 40 time was a little slower than he played IMO.

I could see the Giants drafting him at the end of the 2nd. They're in the market for a RB after releasing Bradshaw and I read somewhere that they really liked him at the combine.

...Cousins ends up in DC last year:bang2: and if the gspots get Bell this year..... :bang2: :bang2:

I'm a big fan MSU fan and a fan of his but I don't want to draft him. Too many carries. That workload has to catch up to him eventually. Lots of interesting backs this year.

disagree my friend. He was used VERY sparingly his freshman year (2010) as he was behind Baker and Caper. He only had 107 carries that year:http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/michigan-state/2010.html

In 2011 he overtook Baker as the #1 back and had 182 carries:

http://www.msuspartans.com/sports/m-footbl/stats/2011-2012/teamcume.html#TEAM.IND

In 2012 he had a whopping 382 carries for 1,793 yds and 12 TDS to easily lead the big ten behind a MEDIOCRE oline. 922 of those yards were AFTER contact. Baker went pro early and coach dantonio really rode him and he did wear down SOME by the 10th week but that's mainly because they didn't have a bye until then. He missed NO time in any of the games he played in for 3 seasons: NONE. He is extremely durable and a heckuva good kid. I realize we probably won't get him but I can dream

One guy that blew me away was Swope.......I had no idea he was that fast. I was disappointed with his hands in some of the drills, as he was pretty much money when in game situations. I hate the Aggies with a passion, but if we did draft Swope, I would not be upset at all....a possession type WR with burner speed......my two favorites are Patton and Goodwin.
