Pet dog crippled by tornado drags himself home

Ridiculous thinking, the family was unable to properly care for a cripple pet while they recover. The dog is in great hands, temporarily, while they get their lives back together.

Thank you. Some people clearly didn't "get" the fact that the family wasnt capable of caring for the dog at this time.

You can count me in the group of people that doesn't "get" it.

While I realize that people have different priorities during times of crisis and I wouldn't want to discount in any way what the family might be going through, I just didn't see the same happy ending to the story that some people here did. Sounds to me like they went back to retrieve the valuables from the house and Mason didn't make the cut, despite his 20 day endeavor to get back home. At least we know he's in good custody now.

I just hope the kids made it through the storm ok.......
