The recent trend to shortening a player's name to the first two letters of his first and last name has to stop, or else we carry it across to the entire franchise history...

JuJo ran me nuts, and FeJo is even worse...

From now on, let's do it this way...

Roger Staubach = RoSt
Tony Dorsett = ToDo
Drew Pearson = DrPE (pronounced "droopy")
Michael Irvin = MiIr (Murr)
Tony Romo - ToRo
Emmitt Smith - EmSm (Im Sum)
Preston Pearson = PrPe ("preppy"?)
Tom Landry =ToLa (What up ToLa?)
Too Tall - EdJo or ToTa
Harvey Martin = HaMa (Stop... HaMa Time)
Mark Stepnoski - MaSt
Duane Thomas = DuTh
Ken Norton = KeNo
Jerry Jones = JeJo
Jimmy Johnson - JiJo
Junior Siavii = JuSi

One cool one:
Terrell Owens = TeOw...

This could go on forever...

trickblue = trbl... (call me tribble)...

PS: Just call them by their last name for God's sake. Alternate pronunciations are the full name when it sounds cool (Michael Irvin) or first name (Troy)

Yes I'm cranky tonight... deal with it...

Actually, it only works if the first letter of the first and last name is a Consonent and the second letter of the first and last name is a Vowel.

Thanks a lot T.B. My Doctor just cut back on my meds when I told him "JuJo" was no longer a Cowboy. I just got off the phone with him and he advised me to triple up on them until we see how this pans out. Thanks a lot, pal.

lol.

I hope not cause I have ZERO intent to call every player by the first two letters of their first and last names.

I won't be using FeJo for sure, cause that just sucks.

I think the only players I've ever done this with are Terence Newman and Demarcus Ware. For some reason, me and my buddies always call them TNew and Dware. We don't call a lot of guys by nicknames, usually a first or last name. Roy, MB3, etc. I always thought JuJo was ridiculous sounding.

I think we can all just call him "Felix". It's unlikely we'll have another player by that name on the team any time soon. Of course, you could have said that about Julius too .... so nevermind I guess.

If Felix scores from long distance consistently, I'm calling him the F-Bomb. ;)

Amen.

I'm all for nicknames, but what trickblue mentioned is maddening. I hate that.
