Yea fits me also but I wouldn't pull anyone over

Takes one to know one! Lol
FYI, shooting someone that is attempting to tase you falls under the category of self defense in the State of Texas.Kinda girlie if you ask me! Lol
I thought I remembered some bs standard about 2/3 car lengths? This was 17 years ago when I took the driving test (could be dated) and no one follows this law that I've seen. Probably one of those rarely used discretionary laws to allow them to check out the driver/vehicle, etc. If you're talking 95S, yeah that HW is always a slugfest it seems. There is no law that states you have to be so far behind a car in front of you that I know of. There is a law stating that slower traffic in the left lanes should yield. There are signs that say "Slower Traffic Keep Right" There are no signs for tailgating that I have seen.
Texas is not all that bad about it really. East coast especially south of DC is pretty awful with it.

Yikes 6 car lengths if you're going 60...pulled this bc I'm a nerd.
"The key to winning a case for tailgating is to prove that your distance behind the other car was reasonable and prudent given the circumstances at the time. The big word here is “circumstances.” The normal safety guideline is that a driver should leave one car length between his or her car and the car in front of it for every 10 mph. So, to be safe, a car traveling 60 mph should normally have at least six car lengths of empty space between it and the car in front of it."
