Most Overated Team to this point:

I'm going to go with the Seattle Seahawks. They looked like the best team in

the league against Houston, and they did go to St. Louis and win a game the

week before, but I just get the feeling that this isn't an elite team. I like the

offense, but the receivers are lacking. They don't have a big-play threat

down the field, which will hurt as they play the better teams. The defense

has played well so far, ranking 12th in total defense, but I'm still not

convinced it's that good. Maybe the defense can prove me wrong, but we'll

see. The combined record of the Seahawks' first six opponents is 14-19 and

includes 1-4 Arizona and 0-5 Houston, two teams they handled. The

Seahawks lost to two of the three teams they've played with winning

records. So while they look the part of a serious Super Bowl contender, it's a

little too early to think that's the case. But don't fret, Seahawks fans. I'm

the one who picked Arizona to win the NFC West. What the heck do I know?

Hmmm.. I think that was his point, i.e. team looking good against those teams doesn't say much.

Hard to make predictions, but I think the C-hawks have the edge over us.

On offense ? defense ? Specail teams ?

Is it matchups that bother you ? Team ranking of offense/defense ?

there are not many teams in the league that have been consistent week to week this year.

Giants looked like world beaters against a couple of teams, so did the Seahawks, Chargers and the Cowboys against Philliy.

Which team will gain some consistency and continue to play well against the good and bad teams. Remains to be seen, but it seems we are talking about a new team each week.

I like our chances against Seattle, and going in looks to be an even matchup to me. I would give us the edge if Julius was heathly. Ware's play will be key this week in keeping Alexander contained as he is most productive running outside!!

He's right, and it's early. This game is as much a test for the Seahawks as it is for the Cowboys. The one thing that sticks in my mind is that this is a revenge game for the Seahawks from last year. Hopefully that doesn't mean anything on Sunday.

Is this true? I thought Alexander was best inside but I haven't really watched him. The ESPN Scouting Report seems to indicate inside runs.
