Most Overated Team to this point:
I'm going to go with the Seattle Seahawks. They looked like the best team in
the league against Houston, and they did go to St. Louis and win a game the
week before, but I just get the feeling that this isn't an elite team. I like the
offense, but the receivers are lacking. They don't have a big-play threat
down the field, which will hurt as they play the better teams. The defense
has played well so far, ranking 12th in total defense, but I'm still not
convinced it's that good. Maybe the defense can prove me wrong, but we'll
see. The combined record of the Seahawks' first six opponents is 14-19 and
includes 1-4 Arizona and 0-5 Houston, two teams they handled. The
Seahawks lost to two of the three teams they've played with winning
records. So while they look the part of a serious Super Bowl contender, it's a
little too early to think that's the case. But don't fret, Seahawks fans. I'm
the one who picked Arizona to win the NFC West. What the heck do I know?
