He also said he has no jurisdiction over the hall decision. I learned about the hall this year when I went. It's a separate gig.

But...

They agreed back in 1991 to no let a player that was banned from baseball in the hall.

I wonder if that's the next angle Rose tries to "gamble" on?

I'll never understand why Pete Rose receives so much sympathy. Yes, he clearly has an addiction, but he had years to come clean and seek help and only came clean to sell books, and to much knowledge, never tried to seek help for his addiction.

I just think his accomplishments are what they are.

He deserves to be in HOF.
HE can stay banned from mlb.

My guess is he stays banned. HOF doesn't go against baseball.

Maybe as a posthumous induction/ forgiveness. Who knows?

Yeah I'm not too bugged by it on a personal level. I'm not going to be picketing one way or the other.

His accomplishments on the field say he is a Hall of Famer and he should be.

But they'll do whatever as they've always done. They fight harder to keep this guy out of things, cause of gambling, then they do to keep steroids out of their sport. lol
