Never the most accurate guy on these predictions but some Cowboy blurbs are all at the top of his 10 Things I think.

Ten Things I Think I Think

1. I think Randy Moss is one thing. But Pacman Jones? I can't see the Patriots taking a chance on him. Moss was often lazy in Oakland, but he didn't get in nearly the trouble Jones has been in during his first three NFL years. Jones has Dallas written all over him, even though there are approximately 6,479 strip clubs within 15 minutes of Valley Ranch.

2. I think, by the way, that if I were Cowboy owner Jerry Jones, I'd send my private eye to check out Pacman pretty closely before entering into any trade discussions with Tennessee. I'd especially want to find out about any possible pets on Pacman's property.

3. I think this is the way I see the Chad Johnson situation going down. Cincinnati starts its offseason program today at Paul Brown Stadium. Johnson, presumably, will skip it. Johnson, presumably, will miss the entire offseason program, hoping that will force the Bengals to trade him to Washington or Dallas. It won't.

Bengals owner Mike Brown and coach Marvin Lewis won't have Chad Johnson force them into a trade that would screw their salary-cap situation this year. So Johnson sits out 'til camp. Then he doesn't show up for camp. Things get contentious, then ugly, then a sideshow. Johnson makes a few silly public appearances and rips the Bengals. Finally, two weeks before the season, Cincinnati trades Johnson to Dallas for the Cowboys' first-round pick in 2009.

Do I know anything? No. But I believe the scenario I just detailed, knowing the stubbornness of all parties involved, is more likely than Johnson caving in late August and reporting to the team.

I love that rhetorical question, uhh, no you don't :D

But gotta hand it to King in somehow making Moss look angelic when compared to Pacman...I suppose the latter has had more run ins but to somehow make Moss look innocent is splitting hairs, IMHO.

The pets on Pacman's property jab?...Uhh, where was he going with that?...Is he implying he's a dogfighter like Vick or that simply the dude is doing some likely shady things even now?...Seems like libel there...King comes off a bit reckless there, IMHO

As for the Chad Johnson scenario, not sure what to make of it but I want no part of him anyway.

Although, on a related note, I loved the blurb on the DMN Blog where Carson Palmer was asked about his receivers camp threats...TJ he wasn't concerned about but replied with a terse 'No Comment' when asked about Ocho Cinco :laugh2:

Sounds to me like he heard something about dogfighting while talking to his sources about PacMan. He won't come right out and say it, but that's probably the root of it.

Or is it just a baseless accusation. Hey one star athlete who people think is a thug did it, why not pacman.

If I recall Moss tried to run over a police officer. Haven't seen pacman do that yet.

If Jerry doesn't have an investigator carefully/fully checking out Pacman's activities, friends, etc. (including what is publicly known but also what isn't publicly known) before he makes any move, he isn't performing "due diliegence". I don't believe we will take much of a PR hit by signing Pacman to minimal with lots of protection unless lot of unknown stuff surfaces after the trade which makes keeping him unteneable.

Yep. Pac Man supposedly refuses to cut ties with the bad influences he grew up with in Atlanta. I'm sure he at least knows someone who does it. The question is could you ever tie it to him directly.

I think you guys are reading too much into that line. I don't think King actually means that he thinks Pacman is involved with dog fighting. What he is saying (jokingly) is that Jerry better be sure to investigate Pacman further because the last thing Jerry and the Cowboys need is to find out 3 years from now that Pacman is involved in dogfighting, and have a huge Vick-esque mess.

But I don't think King is making any accusations now.

Because you guys are slowly getting suckered into believing that he is a victim.

People are trying to tell themselves that.

Just let this moron get signed by the Pats or Saints and you'll all be back to recognizing how big of an idiot he is.

He has put himself in a position for comments like those. Its his own fault.

Umm no. I do not see anyone trying to explain away the people that he hangs out with and the locations that he chooses to go to.

An I am sorry i just have to disagree with you on that last part. No one deserves to be a target of baseless accusations and the like. It may be expected but not deserved.

Your right about the it being expected part.

When people invest big amounts of money into you and your under a media microscope and you do ******** stuff like he does people are going to take cheap shots at you all day long.

It comes with the territory and he has put himself in a position to fail.

Its his own fault.

Sorry there is nothing righteous or good in demonizing someone, pointing fingers, and making baseless accusations.

Its just as much the 'fault' of the people doing that as it is his actions that gave them the excuse. Its just bad on top of bad.

Well im not getting into morals.

Like I said when your in the position he is in and you do the dumb stuff he has done than stuff like that is to be expected.

On top of that had he not been rumored to be a Cowboy then that line would just be another fart in the wind.

But now you guys are so hurt and offended.

Randy Moss got commemorative envelopes from the state of West Virginia. Which tells you a little about the state.

He had a nice cry about it. It won't get picked up like "That's my qwarterback", but it was pretty good.

NFLNetwork had a bit where they showed where these envelopes were going. After Art Shell, they did the Minnesota traffic violations office.

So that was pretty funny. Good to know the NFL Network didn't forget Moss ran a officer over with his car just because he plays for the Patsies now.

When you start talking about what someone 'deserves' then it certainly becomes a question of morals and ethics. You opened that box; not me.
