Peter King Mock

This Taylor Mays thing to Dallas must stop before I end up cutting myself.
+1

The last person I want to see the Cowboys draft is Taylor Mays, right there along side Bruce Campbell.

If were going to do this then sign me up for the 1,2,3 trade for ET ... least we know were getting a baller

Forget this, where's King's softball or field hockey mock? Been waiting all month to hear where he thinks Mary Beth goes.

:laugh2:I would not be surprised at all. The guy has the Jets taking a RB in Round 1 after they signed LT and have Shonn Greene, who emerged last year. Also, Leon Washington is coming back so he's solid depth. I can't believe some of his picks.

I don't see why this is such a shock. LT is a shell of his former self. Shonn Greene and Leon Washington are coming off injuries and neither is considered an every-down back. Besides, with a still developing Sanchez, you need to protect him with a running game.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Jets take a running back.

I am putting a hit list together with everyone predicting taylor mays to the cowboys names on it.

You can help me "execute" my plan if we wind up actually taking him.

King always gets several scoops about the draft that other reporters don't get. He also gets fed a lot of misinformation. He's not as dedicated to the draft as Goose is where he can weed out and discriminate between the bad info from the good.

Either that or he just keeps shoveling **** until he gets something right. :laugh2:

I'd be shocked, Greene is the future of that team at that position.

By the looks of him, I doubt he does much shoveling...he would not want to risk burning a calorie or two.:p:

No, that would be the free internet draft dork sites that people treat as gospel because they've been logging into them every day for the last 3 months. It's always hilarious when fans fall over themselves on draft day saying "Why did they take him at the end of the first round ... www. fortythreeyearoldvirgindraftnik. com says he would have been there in the 3rd round !!!!", as if that site knows what the hell they're talking about.

As far as having actual insight and information into team boards and GMs, I would put King among the top 2 or 3. But like I said, he's not overly dedicated to the draft. I don't even think King does a single mock until the day before the draft.

He admitted as much yesterday on NFL Radio. He's simply filling in for Dr. Z.
