I love this dude's film reviews and he's given THE DARK KNIGHT 3.5/5 stars -- that's damn strong from him.

I see it Saturday myself...can't wait!

I'm looking forward to this.....but I can't help but cringe at the description of the Joker. I was probably one of the few people that hated Jack Nicholson's Joker.

I still think Mark Hamill played the best Joker. He was brilliant and hilarious as the Joker in Batman TAS.

I really wish they would continue that series. One of the best cartoons I've ever seen.

and really his only negatives are

- a bit too long
- a bit too dark and somber

hell, those are positives for me

It's almost like he wanted to give it 4 stars but couldn't do it for a super hero movie.

Heath Ledger looks awesome as the joker, and no, I'm not hyping him up because he died

I'll give y'all a VERY mini-review when I get back from LA Monday. Got a 1 on 1 interview with Chris Nolan which is going to be cool.

Ledger's going to get an Oscar nod for this role and he may damn win.

If you want more proof that Nolan and Ledger have nailed The Joker, check out this tv spot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJABP4hSd8Y

I felt the same way after reading it. I really love how some of the reviewers are comparing it to movies like Heat, it seems like its going to be a crime drama in which the protagonist wears a mask and a cape. Its going to be awesome.
