Didn't Seattle have a backup left tackle in for the injured Okung last week? Not one sack was registered. Hardy is great, but he can't do it alone.

Did you watch the game? Seattle obviously gameplanned to avoid sacks, the game consisted of quick passes. Wilson got many hits, I remember one instance where Troy starting calling a play a sack until Wilson got it out in the last second for a first down while falling down.

Yeah like he did Alvin Bailey in place of Okung?

As I said, Wilson was getting rid of the ball ultra fast, and you DO NOT rush Wilson wide, or he'll kill you. Seattle was content with just quick screens most of that game.

True, but other teams haven't had a problem with sacking Wilson, and most teams don't have a Greg Hardy on their D-line. The other guys have to step up and help this guy, he can't do it alone.

Seattle has tried deeper pass plays against other teams. They didn't against Dallas.

Yes I watched the game, and I also have watched other Seattle games where they had the same game plan, and those other teams had no problem sacking Wilson. Hardy can't do it alone.

Sure they did, Wilson dropped back and lofted a ball to Graham, where Church and the rookie collided.

True, but let's not assume that Hardy will be able to just kill the backup if the rest of the guys are not helping him out.

I hope Marinelli considers going back to the 3-2-5 with McClain and Lee rushing. We know Philly likes to go spread anyway and quite honestly when McClain hasn't been rushing he's been a liability. Gotta hit Bradford. Also playing Kraken inside more. The weakness of this Eagles offensive line is definitely at guard. Hopefully Gregory can give us more snaps.

Once or twice, but not all game long like other games they've played.

Wilson was getting the ball out ultra fast. Probably didn't think they'd need much offense to win, and they didn't.

The top sack leader in the NFL is averaging one sack a game. It's about pressure, not sacks anyway.

If Peters can't play, that would be a huge advantage for Dallas. Hardy would eat his backup alive.

It's also nice to have Collins power against Fletcher Cox.

Looking forward to seeing Collins pancake him, and what the announcers will say about that, as they normally hype Fletcher Cox as if he is Lawrence Taylor reborn.

I would say that was more Wilson than Seattle's line holding up. Bradford is certainly not Wilson.

I know this normally isn't Cowboy related, but seeing as we play them Sunday I figured it would be good to know. Ryan Matthews being out means a lot more of Murray I suppose.

Good, more chances for a fumble....:muttley:

The problem with the DL is we aren't getting enough interior pressure and pushing the pocket back. A guy like Russell will have no problems escaping from outside pressure just like Tony doesn't. He had room to step up, to escape, and to slide. Get pressure in his face especially with him being undersized and you'll get sacks. Bradford isn't mobile, but he's not a statue either. He still has decent manuver ability in the pocket. Those big hits up the middle are what causes him to panic and fold.

We were intentionally keeping gap control in the game last week, to keep Wilson in the pocket. I thought we'd manage a sack or two along the way, but then it's tought to argue with giving up 13 points, too.

What time does the injury report come out?
Still doesn't mean much if questionable, as will be game time decision.

The other guys already stepped up in week 2 without Hardy.

What have they done since then? Since they stepped up in week 2, is that all they have to do it for is one game? I'm confused by your post.
