Please explain a little why you think so...
replacing Colombo, getting B James replacement, and a safety you yourself like
V
one very good CB.
Okay, I believe Peterson helps us at 2 positions (CB & Safety) and adds Special Teams value that other players cannot.
We can get an OT in the 2nd round. The OT I think we look at in round 1 (Smith), is a phenomenon, but he is a project.
I think quite honestly that Peterson is a 6 time Pro Bowl candidate quality player. That is hard to come by at a position like CB. But with his size, speed and ball skills matrix it makes him an instant weapon and the way you win this game is to have more weapons than the other guys.
Putting him opposite Jenkins could give us the best CB duo in the NFL if Jenkins can return to 2009 form. I think he can. If you give me that kind of coverage with Ware and Spencer coming after the QB in an aggressive scheme like Ryan is saying I do not believe for one minute that this team can be beaten regularly by any team.
For all the problems on the OL we still scored almost 400 points and that was with 2 backups going at QB instead of the guy we know can put up points in bunches and it was losing our top rookie who was almost uncoverable.
The number one thing we have to fix is not the OL it is the Defense. I want to fix the OL, do not get me wrong, but the D is our biggest need and getting a guy who helps us at 2 spots is better than getting 2 guys to fill two spots and one of those as a backup to Bradie James.
Is that clear or did I babble?
