Arrogant, lying, crooks take over the poorly designed Comcast A/B cable system which can't even manage dual channel DVR's in Plano. Then they have the nerve to ask for our sympathy and support in helping them charge us more for what we had yesterday--the NFL Network.

And they sent a fool out for an interview on local news last night to tell us that the rumors that Dallas Cowboy games would be blacked out are untrue.

These people take us for complete fools.

I have both Directv and Comcast/TW for HDTV so I'm not harmed but I feel for my neighbors and feel abuse by TW's arrogance.

Why don't that get rid of about 100 channels of pure junk & maybe ask the customer what they would like? Wait,maybe that makes too much sense. nevermind.

This is the whole a la carte pricing thing which is pretty controversial. Congress is involved in this and there is big money at stake.

i didnt know nfl was trying to rip off more money from fans....
i was on the nfl side but now im neutral....the reason why is because us football fans want nfl network....but we need to realize is that not everybody in america is a football fan....put it this way if hockey wanted to charge every time warner customer extra $ to carry thier nhl network (i know doesnt exist) us football fans would be pi&$ed!! why should we have to pay for a single channel!! so i see time warners side a little clearer....still though they are making billions of dollars so they shouldnt be acting like a whiny baby....

I sorta agree with you, but we are paying for about 7 home shopping networks, and several religious channels that I did not ask for or want. So what is the difference. I think that the NFL is trying to charge more for their programming than the other channels charge. It will get ugly, but eventually an agreemnent will be made. Either way the consumer will get fleeced, afterall it is all about $$$$$$$.

I would be so in favor of this. You want to know what the problem with it is though? Too many people would not take certain channels and the Cable providers would lose money because those networks would wither and die, thus loss of revenue.

Most of the Cable companies own channels in the packages we as subscribers receive. So thsoe channels are automatically on our basic packages and they get revenue from the advertising, etc. If you don't want the Moon Your Neighbor Network or the Flamengo Dancing channel and had the right or ability not to have it in your cable package then they lose all the commerical advertising placed on those channels.

It's all about :money: Always has been.

7 shopping channels??? i can only think of hsn and qvc...?? but ne ways your right there are alot of channels that i dont want....food network!, c-span, c-span 2, c-span 3..bet, bravo, lifetime, mtv<--what happened to all the music videos? there all reality shows! the channel i could watch all day is the military channel!!! awesome stuff!... but yeah we are getting screwed no matter what...
