Too bad his ******* brother will NEVER reach MVP status in the league. I don't know why they are even related to each other. One is a sure proven winner, and the other one got lucky because his front 7 bailed his *** out.

I thought he would....he deserves it! ;)

His ability to make his receivers better, even when they change, is quite remarkable. He's the best at his position I've ever seen. He's definitely earned MVP this year, IMHO.

Peyton is the only Manning I like. He must be more like his mom. Congrats to Peyton.

:laugh2: you mean like in 2006 when the Colts defense kept bailing Peyton out after throwing 2 picks at Baltimore, 3 picks vs KC, a pick-6 to New England and another in the Superbowl?

So you had to go back to 2006 to try and make some weak point that Peyton is not as good as advertised? I'm sure you will agree that those games were the exception rather then the rule on Peyton. You think the Pats would have went for it on 4th down if any other QB was back their? Peyton is at the top of his game don't be a hater and watch and enjoy what he is doing. Before he is retired.

First two games were not great for Manning, but going 27 of 47 for 349 yards, a touchdown and a pick vs New England while beating them 38 to 34 doesn't seem to be much of a defensive bailout. That is also against the number two scoring defense in the league that year.

25 of 38 for 247 yards and a touchdown vs a pick against the Bears is pretty respectable considering they were number five in the league in yardage and number 3 in the league in scoring defense.

You make it sound like they won every game in spite of Manning.

I went back to 2006 cause that was the year he won a Superbowl.... and no Peyton is not as good as advertised cause in the playoffs he's a totally different qb.

no but in the 1st 2 games they basically did. I think Peyton Manning is a great qb, future hof'er and all that good stuff. but I think he's overrated when people start calling him the best ever cause he's not that same guy in the postseason.
