And it doesn't look like his chicken parm is gonna taste so good tonight either.

I believe he played his last game tonight. His last game being against Colts is kind of poetic. Well. I consider myself lucky to witness the Peyton Manning, Tom Brady rivalry. I believe this rivalry will go down as one of the best in the history.

One of the greatest regular season players in NFL history. And that's not meant as an insult. He was a dominating regular season player. He just didn't have as much post-season success as many thought he should have.

Probably the end of a great career. The rigors of the long and violent NFL season are too much now.

Was sad to see it end this way honestly.

What's so sad about an aging QB going out in the 2nd round of the playoffs? What would be sad would be to see him come back for one year to many only to have him unable to get more than 4 or 5 wins and to get beat up along the way because teams don't have to respect his arm.

I just doubt he calls it a day. He's less than 3000 yards from Farve for all time passing yardage. I have a feeling he's going to play for that.

If he does call it a day he's 5 years away from going into Canton.

this was their year to go back to the bowl. They fixed the defense and fell on their faces. I wonder how D Ware feels right about now? That was an old cowboy style lost

That was one of the worse performances I have ever seen from Manning. He just didnt seem to be able to make throws that he usually does. Both Sanders and Thomas beat their man deep on several occasions but Manning over threw them every time. The velocity isnt there any more either. Seems like he has been playing injured since the KC game.

He won't call it a day, it will take being carted off the pitch for that. His arm is getting worse and worse, some of those balls are ugly.

He's a sure-fire Hall of Famer. He isn't going to win another Super Bowl. I'd just hang 'em up if I were him.

His passes were ugly yesterday but it's not his fault that Luck was able to carve their secondary up.

He couldn't hit the side of a barn when they played in Dallas. Yesterday he had his A game going.

This should highlight to folks you have to be careful in FA. They spent a lot of money, but the few games I saw Denver play, I was not impressed with their defense. Love Ware to death, but he was done 2 years ago.

Manning was a great a QB, but all the media talk of him being the greatest ever needs to stop. The greatest QB of all time does not go 1 and done 9 times in the playoffs.

Manning. Probably the smartest football QB ever.

Suffers from Marino-Favre syndrome. He is a pure passer and dat's dat!

He didn't learn, didn't want to accept that the offense doesn't go through am air attacking offense.
The playoffs need running game and defense. Because once you start missing receivers and/or they start dropping balls. Dats dat! Belicheck figured this out quickly vs Rams (greatest show on turf) and playing Manning over the years. Belicheck couldn't beat Eli because he was more balanced. Eli more selfless. Aikman was same. Peyton more like Favre / Marino.

I have family in Colorado. They say he was complaining that he wasn't passing enough last month of season. Didn't want to give running game too many plays.

Honestly. He is lucky it was the bears or he would be 0-3 in Super Bowls right next to jim Kelly.(0-4)
