23. Dallas Cowboys

Considered a team strength not long ago, the Cowboys' offensive line is full of question marks. Left tackle Tyler Guyton’s rookie season yielded just a 49.4 PFF overall grade, which ranked 73rd at the position.

In addition to Guyton, Dallas will play two other starters who are either early in their NFL careers: center Cooper Beebe and rookie first-round pick Tyler Booker, who is expected to replace Zack Martin.

Moving on from hall of fame players is always going to require a bit of a rebuild.

Can’t say the cowboys have ignored this position group though.

I expect for them to finish the year well above 23rd.

1st of all it is PFF ... pro football follies ...

However, can't fault their reasons. Can put them anywhere in the middle of the pack to a bit lower. Until proven otherwise.
Still just too many unknowns. But the potential is there to finish top 12 .

23rd lol they were like 16ish last year. Hard to imagine them being worse
PBWR (pass block win rate) ranked them 24th last year
They were also poor in penalties. Guyton finished tied for 3rd most even though he only started 11 games.

Potential is there to be a top 10 group, but this ranking is very fair based on last season and replacing Zack with a rookie.

Steele should be way better now fully healthy, and Guyton can't possibly be worse.
Last year we were also awful in run game but a lot of that can be blamed on the RBs.
We can hope that is much improved but it's not like they have surefire plus starters.

that is about right. big big big question mark at tackles position.

The offensive line will be fine this year. The interior will be fantastic.
not as worried about the interior. if the tackles suck like last year, the offense is cooked again. we got ferrari engines for WRs and then put it on Kia chasis. how is that going to work out?

They should be higher strictly based on the OL coaching change.

Seems a little low to me. But hey, prove it on the field.

I think they can finish in the Top 10 before 2025 is all said and done.

So the Cowboys had...

-Worst RB room in the NFL
-OL ranked #23
-Zero weapons outside of CeeDee Lamb
-Defense ranked #31 in PPG

Do you people understand how stupid it is to expect the QB to overcome all of this yet?

Super Bowl champion Eagles had...

-BEST RB in the NFL
-OL ranked #1
-Weapons galore
-Defense ranked #2 in PPG

Gee, how did Jalen Hurts overcome all of that!?!

dak stans are so funny

The offensive line will be fine this year. The interior will be fantastic.
The interior 3 will be top 3 in the league or better, fantastic is right. All 3 will be pro bowl worthy real soon maybe this year.

The only place on the O line that there is no question about is Smith at LG.
Cooper at Center was good and should improve but he also might have a sophomore slump
Guyton; well there you are; he could improve or he could stay the same
Booker is a rookie
Steele seemed better at Run blocking late in the season but he is still worse in Pass Blocking then he was before the injury- and there is no excuse as regards his injury now more than two years past it.

So this O line could be top ten or bottom ten.

I think this line finishes with the movement of it's entire offense. Running backs and tight ends in the running game that matches with the Dallas interior.

Don't forget an incompetent owner/GM and a head coach that, once again, wouldn't be working in the NFL if it weren't for Jerrah!

I think this will be a top 12-15 group by the end of the year if they stay healthy
