Too predictable.

NFL coaches (and interns) spend a lot (A LOT) of time breaking down film. They are looking for tendencies and anything that gives away opponents intentions. Too many people have said how predictable and obvious we are. We don't disguise anything. We don't force anything. We sit back, wait for it to happen, and then rally. It's the Tampa 2 mentality from 20 years ago. Marinelli needs to go.

Bend-but-don't break is broken.
I wonder if any of our coaches do this too? I seriously do not know. Based on how they play, I would say no. They just do what they always do.

One Cowboy I thought would be good on D this year was Collins. I guess instead of having a get-paid contract year he looked at Jaylon Smith's contract and figured playing great wasn't even necessary for JJ to pay out.

Our o-line and d-line were violated for the 3rd week in a row, despite kris Richard 's statement the problems had been addressed. Jerry needs to do a Bobby knight and throw a pile of defecated matter on the locker room floor and let the team know that's what he thinks of their performance.

When JG talks about "execution", thats what he is basically saying. He truly beleives that if you can execute properly, it does not matter what the other team does. He's basically trying to be Jimmy Johnson's 90's Cowboy team but with far less talent.

They did play the run much better

Against one of the worst offensive lines in the league. And because the Jets didn’t need to run, because they were destroying the defense in the passing game, because the pass rush was terrible.

We will see what happens against Philly on Sunday.

Kerry Hyder is the hardest working guy we have on D. He’s probably the least talented but he makes up for it with an intensity most guys on this team sorely lack.
I would add Thomas to that list as well.

In limited playing time he always seems to be around the ball. Would like to see him get some extended time.

I'm not saying this happened yesterday, but Lee getting snaps over Thomas is criminal. Only in Dallas...

Can't believe how fast time flies. It seems like yesterday that Lee was breaking up passes, making an interception and just making life a living heck for anyone trying to catch a pass in the middle of the field. Father time stops for no one.
