Grades vary. ESPN gave us C so far and said that the Williams deal was one of the most underrated one so far in FA. On the flip side Walterfootball ranks the Williams deal as D. So I guess it is in the eye of the beholder.

Quite frankly I don't understand the grade Walterfootball gave on the Williams' deal.

Walter's an Eagles fan and hates everything Dallas Cowboys. Really harms his credibility. My brother knows him IRL -- not the place I turn to for any kind of effective analysis.

I mean the only negative about this offseason is that 4 out of 5 regulars are now gone in the secondary.
However, each had their flaws, that we fans grilled them for years over.

Even with me not liking the Carroll deal, I think this offseason has been a good one overall so far.
Glad to see them not restructure every contract just to sign some above average players to overpaid deals.

Obviously we'll need to hit on some draft picks to continue to be successful, but I feel more comfortable in the team hitting on draft picks than signing outside FAs to big deals.

We are allowing average players and JAG players to go and substituting them with average to JAG players, some that better fit what we want to do, for a lower cost. That's sound football economics. I suspect we'll sign some more FA's, particularly those with name value before Training Camp starts as we see what we have with the draft.

Exactly right.

I think Dallas has done a solid job in approaching free agency this offseason.
