As always, take them with a grain of salt. Here they are:

Those numbers are always debatable but probably far more balanced than many here.
I can't argue with them.

According to this our entire starting o-line scored a negative score. ***? I dont even have anything to say about that.

Relax, breh. -2.0 - +2.0 are "average NFL starter" scores. They're just gettting warmed up and will be fine.

hmmm i didnt know that. But if thats the case, Dez our highest rated player only got a 2.3 which means barely better than an Average NFL WR. Does that match up to reality in the slightest?

fair grade considering the penalties (4 on OL) which PFF overrates.
only one I'd question is Martin who I didn't see miss a pass block.
truth is the grade mirrors the game.
the majority of the scoring came late with back ups in and they graded higher.
earlier drives often stalled due to penalties and they penalize that heavily.

Minter not surprisingly rated highest defensively with Wilbur, Patmon Bush and Wilcox all showing up well. Coleman rated highly for his pass rush, not so much against the fun.
Bruce Carter was a bust, there has to be a 3-4 team who have a poor fit in there scheme salivating at the chance to get Carter in exchange for said problem.

he made it above +2 in only 15 plays. that score would have been in the 8's or 9's if extrapolated out over a full game. that's basically all pro status.

the OL was low because any mistake causes you to go negative and the starters didnt play enough to make up for them.
tyron was not negative in any game last year that i can recall. they score penalties insanely high and if you are only in a couple series and commit one you basically sucked by their metrics.

Sure it does broheim. He played a limited number of plays - and I think that's the biggest factor for why our OLINE was so low. Even superstars have average games. You have to think PFF takes into account EVERY PLAY. So if Dez was sloppy on his run blocking it will bring down his overall & running play scores. One play for 50 yards doesn't mean you played every other play perfectly. Penalties really jack up your score here, too and we had an abundance of them it seemed like in the first two series.

The numbers aren't perfect - but they're a lot better than "Game Recaps" by regular couch coaches like you and me.

It would be a fascinating and enlightening endeavor to go back and chart the Great Wall of Dallas using PFF's metrics.

I kinda just like watching football. I know when the team performs not........as a whole.

Who wants to know this out side of valley ranch?

I'm sad about what happened to the "Bruce Lee" I was so excited about not too long ago...

It takes a very dedicated, loyal mind to even think preseason games matter. They are merely to test the camp bodies and to bait the public with showing the first team in the 1st quarter, then 1st and second quarters.
I wood not take anything from these games except when injuries occur. Preseason games just don't mean anything. Pair up the Seahawks and say, the Jags, in a preseason game and it is a toss up. that is how meaningless these games are.

As of this moment- having seen Parnell through the preseason so far:
What is your honest opinion of him?

He was in on 6 pass plays and had the ball thrown to him on three. I don't know that he sees that high a percentage in a real game -- he's not getting half of the passes thrown directed his way nor is he going to catch everything targeted to him. So projecting in that manner is bit foolish

but then, again, if we are into preseason statistics, then at least we cannot be running the streets and getting into trouble. I gas there are worst ways to spend a afternoon.
