OFFENSE
George Pickens - 90.0 (58 snaps)

Brevyn Spann-Ford - 80.1 (19 snaps) - 69.7 run blocking grade, 71.5 pass blocking grade - needs more playing time, but his special teams play probably impacts how much he's used on offense

Luke Schoonmaker - 46.6 (23 snaps) - 53.7 run blocking grade, 36.6 pass blocking grade - wasted snaps when he's playing
KaVontae Turpin - 41.2 (35 snaps) - disappointing stretch of the season for him

DEFENSE
Sam Williams - 94.2 (22 snaps) - 54.4 run defense grade, 59.0 pass rush grade, 69.2 tackling grade - tremendous hustle play causing the fumble by Barkley to stop a drive.
Quinnen Williams - 87.0 (46 snaps) - 68.3 run defense grade, 81.7 pass rush grade, 67.3 tackling grade - best player on this side of the ball
Solomon Thomas - 75.3 (19 snaps) - 73.7 run defense grade, 61.0 pass rush grade, 68.7 tackling grade - one low cost signing that exceeded expectations
Malik Hooker - 75.2 (55 snaps) - 66.8 run defense grade, 70.5 coverage grade, 83.1 tackling grade - only safety on roster who can play
Dante Fowler - 74.3 (23 snaps) - 60.0 run defense grade, 71.8 pass rush grade
Osa Odighizuwa - 70.8 (42 snaps) - 76.9 run defense grade, 59.0 pass rush grade, 71.4 tackling grade - better as a rotational DT than as a starter

DaRon Bland - 64.6 (60 snaps) - 62.8 run defense grade, 64.0 coverage grade, 29.2 tackling grade - tackles like Diggs
DeMarvion Overshown - 64.1 (37 snaps) - 54.6 run defense grade, 66.3 coverage grade, 77.6 tackling grade
Donovan Ezeiruaku - 63.9 (37 snaps) - 75.0 run defense grade, 48.2 pass rush grade, 73.4 tackling grade

James Houston - 60.5 (19 snaps) - 69.3 run defense grade, 49.8 pass rush grade
Kenneth Murray - 60.2 (39 snaps) - 38.5 run defense grade, 68.3 coverage grade, 34.2 tackling grade
Jadaveon Clowney - 59.8 (27 snaps) - 71.1 run defense grade, 60.7 pass rush grade, 71.7 tackling grade - never became the force he was projected to be coming out in the draft, but he hustles like he's a UDFA fighting for a spot. He lifts others efforts up.
Donovan Wilson - 58.2 (62 snaps) - 54.4 run defense grade, 60.0 coverage grade, 38.8 tackling grade
Shemar James - 55.5 (12 snaps) - 63.0 run defense grade, 52.8 coverage grade, 77.7 tackling grade

Caelen Carson - 44.0 (25 snaps) - 60.2 run defense grade, 42.5 coverage grade, 78.0 tackling grade

This about matches what we saw on the field yesterday.

Probably the best game Sam Williams ever played; though the forced fumble probably elevated his grade immensely. I've been tough on Sam and I hope he continues to prove me wrong.

all I care about is Georgie P. I think he is the most talented guy on the roster- offense or defense. The guy is incredible.

Malik Davis' grade looks a little low. What did he do wrong?
I would assume just a product of a low snap count. Without a standout type of play to push the grade up its tough to really get a high grade. Kinda the opposite for Sam Williams who only had about 20 snaps, but that FF helped get him a nice little boost to get an elite overall grade despite some not so great run/pass scores.

Span-ford needs more time special teams is only how many plays out of a game, that shouldn't harm him from getting more time. He doesn't need to be in for every play, but an increased role absolutely
I don't understand how he isn't taking Schoonmakers spot. Schoon offers nothing. He should be able to take all off Schoonmakers snaps. Heck if we move Luepke to play some TE I can see us making Schoonmaker inactive on game day, if needed.

Kenneth Murray and Donovan Wilson those tackle grades are terrible. And Bland if you are going to be that bad at tackling you better be a beast at covering a WR and getting turnover lol.

Might be time to make Nate Thomas the permanent starter.

maybe he doesnt' have the best hands, maybe it's the 2nd round pick status, but hey, coach has been changing things up, I don't see why we can't change up things at TE

Ask yourself honestly, was Booker was the 5th best OL on the field yesterday?

Granted, I do agree Tyler & Terrence probably played their best games yesterday ... but I can't get on board with grades saying he & Beebe are the least effective run blockers.

Anyone with quarter a brain can see they are the engine for the running game.
