they are claiming that Diggs is tackling better than Kendricks

this is why PFF is a joke

So most of the defense was under 60.

I was waiting to see Tyler Smith's grade. I thought he had a bad night. He is supposed to be the one quality offensive lineman. The truth is our entire offensive line is playing like garbage right now. Beebe is the one guy who seems to be play at least decently. But last night on every drop back Dak was getting pressure it seems. Of few times he held the ball too long but when you couple no time to throw, with receivers not getting separation, and a QB throwing wounded ducks, you get an ugly offense.

I think both Tyler's should be the OT's. I even think you could play Smith on the right. He could be a cross between Erik Williams and Lane Johnson

Good to see Guyton and Beebe getting solid grades. Those two playing better is the key to the Cowboys future. It will take time but I have hope for the kids.
Beebe has one flaw left he still needs to fix - knowing how to stop stunts/twists. He’s consistently late to leave the double team and it’s allowed pressure up the middle. I suspect it’s just because he’s still getting used to having multiple jobs as a center. I’m sure he’ll get it sooner than later.

Not true at all....Jalen Tolbert got a 78 run block grade, while Tyler Smith only got a 50. Does that mean Tolbert is the better run blocker? Of course not, but we are evaluating two different positions differently.

You have to do the same with a middle backer and a CB as the assignments are radically different. You have to look past the grades and realize they are taking different tests. One person scoring a 95% on test about basic subtraction and someone scoring an 80% on a college level nuclear physics exam doesn't mean the person with the 95% is smarter.

It doesn’t help the young guys that Dak can’t move anymore. I don’t think our line is bad at all. It’s the scheme/coaching that is the issue.

Actually it might make sense here. Diggs actually had a couple big stops in the run game including on a jet sweep that might have gone for a big play. Kendricks whiffed a couple of times I remember.

Note, this doesn't mean Diggs is a good tackler and everyone focused on the Leslie play but Diggs actually tackled fairy well (for him) this game.

I really wonder if the fact our tackles are not playing all that well are hurting Tyler and Zach.

He's a good tackler WHEN he wanna be ..........

When can we get out of the Terrence Steele contract?

I admit Diggs actually put in an effort which shocked me; but Kendricks tackling overall was night and day over his

Steele is a real issue. He's $18mil against the cap next year too.

Post 6/1 release or trade it'll be about $5 mil dead cap in 2025 & $9 mil dead in 2026, but $14mil savings in 2025. I think that's the move.

Finally get both rookies to perform at an above average level at the same time and our guard play goes down the toilet.... not ideal.

I have given up on Steele.

This is a great point, although I am seeing Zack get shoved backwards a lot this year. I don't think that has anything to do with Steele or Guyton.
