PFF highest RB for 2021

After grading our OL number one I thought they would have Zeke graded at the top of this list. lol

This is fake news. If you are the highest paid RB your should be #1 performer or so our FO believes

Its interesting that all of those guys except Taylor are backups or in a committee.....

It reminds me of a saying Charles Barkley has. In Basketball, there’s a stat called “per 36 minutes” for part time players to see how their stats would average out if they were a full time player. And sometimes those averages are really impressive, which makes you wonder. And to that, Chuck says, “Yeah, well, there’s a reason they ain’t playing 36!”

We do tend to act like a part-time player would do just as good in a full-time role or be able to hold up to it physically. We really don't know that, though, until they are given a chance. I like Pollard. I think we definitely need to find more ways to utilize him, but I always go back to Emmitt's last year here when some fans felt Troy Hambrick should be the starter because he'd had a better average for two years in a part-time role. He gets the starting role the next year and averages 3.5.

We need to play Pollard more, but we also need Elliott to get healthy and return to how he was playing the first half of the season.

that's what i noticed immediately too, .

i definitely know Dillion shares the backfield with Aaron Jones.

i also wondered what are they dishing out the grading for ? ... splash plays ? runs over 20+ ..?.... avg per catch ? ..TD per amount of touches ? all purpose yds ?
and how much does blitz-blocking play into part ?
That's why i only take stats like this with a grain of salt.

Often backups put up great #’s until they actually have to be “the guy” and are actually gameplanned for.Hopefully if Pollard is ever “the guy,” that doesn’t happen.

Things look shiny when you come in for a couple plays and after games are out of reach. This ranking means about as much as our O line rankings were.

This just means the Cowboys are using Tony Pollard well and nothing more.

It'd be nice if his touches went up but its unlikely he is ever a primary starting RB.
Doesn't mean we have to keep Zeke but people believing we just hand Zeke's snaps to Pollard are completely clueless.
Could draft a guy in R3 or so and combine him with TP.

Honestly number 2 RBs who get limited Carrie’s are going to do better with PFFs way of grading. That is just the nature of what they do.

Yeah I agree. It’s clear those guys are reaping the benefit of this stat because of their shared Carrie’s except Taylor.

I think we've been over this....

They needed SOMEONE out there who had a prayer at blocking.

Plus can't have Jerry looking bad either.

They need to remake the WR and TE positions with some guys who can be at least average at run blocking.
