Here is Gilmore breaking down his film and talking about his thought process on the plays. It shows just how high his football IQ and his processing speed is on plays.

The guy is just a football junkie and has seen everything.

A true leader for the secondary for any player at his point in his own career. An important cog in end of season successes.

Now get us Wagner, and Hopkins... and damn price.

It's definitely a nice pick up for very little risk, well done FO. But adding him wouldn't keep me from still trying to strengthen that DB room, either by retaining Brown or drafting a guy early.

He is a definite upgrade over Brown, only cost us a 5th, and doesn’t break the bank.

I give the FO plenty of grief, but I’ll be the first to stand up and applaud when they get something right: This is an OUTSTANDING move.

Only negative I see is his age, but we still have some young CBs to develop on the roster, and can add to the group in the draft as well.

Very nice addition IMO
yes 32 seems bit long in the tooth but many wanted PP and or brag on eagles bringing in slay BOTH are 32

this is short term solution; i mean Bland and Diggs are young future pieces and the CB2 outside position is still open but if Izzy or even KJ can learn from vet leadership from SG that's a plus.

we are starting out the 23 season better on the backend then we started or ended last season IMHO. we also i believe still have Rhodes for VET depth. i believe brown and Lewis are gone.. cap alone says they are and crowded room seals it.

Still love the idea of taking a CB in the first 3 rounds this year due to the depth of the class.

Would still get snaps and Gilly is the perfect bridge.

He’s a super smart player and he might really help a guy like bland develop
This is a really smart move by Jerry or who ever talked him into it

I think if the quality is there you get one. Gillmore is on his last year of his contract and we have two guys at the bottom of the depth chart that haven’t shown much growth to me. We will likely lose two since I assume they cut Lewis and brown is gone

I'm just thinking of an opponent QB running for his life as Micah & Company closes in. If it's 3rd and long he might have to throw to a WR.
Which CB will he fear less?
