28. Dallas Cowboys

Taco Charlton, Edge, Michigan

The pass rush will likely be addressed early for Dallas and Charlton is a late bloomer who could play like a top-15 player in this class. He was the No. 4 edge defender in the nation down the stretch and in about a season-and-a-half’s worth of snaps from 2014 to 2016, he picked up 17 sacks, 19 QB hits, and 66 hurries.

60. Dallas Cowboys
Marcus Williams, S, Utah

With safety Barry Church moving on, Williams is a good fit for the Dallas scheme, as he can play multiple coverages on the back end. He managed to haul in 11 interceptions over the last three years and does a fine job working downhill in coverage while bringing solid tackling to both the run and pass game.

92. Dallas Cowboys
DeMarcus Walker, Edge, Florida State

Walker doesn’t have a clean position fit, but he can line up outside on early downs and do damage as an interior pass-rusher. He finished last season with 17 sacks, 12 QB hits, and 34 hurries on 457 rushes, and adds another pass-rushing option to the Cowboys’ defensive front.

Me like! Taco sack on Sunday!

3 good players that make the defense better. I like it. Walker doesn't excite me but he's versatile, a good dude, and much more tolerable in the 3rd round.

1st 2 picks would be pretty amazing...damn near (realistic) best case scenario.

Wouldn't hate Walker in the 3rd but I think we'd be better off going in another direction. Give me BPA S, TE, OL, or even LB. But I think Walker will be a very solid player so wouldn't complain.

Would have taken Ryan Anderson or Larry Ogunjobi at Walker's spot. Too many sort of three-techniques on this roster.

Scary the big run on DBs before 60.

It might be scary, but that could very well happen.

Not every team will be thinking to wait and let the depth of the class play out. Once a few come off the board in rapid fashion, there will be some panic and then it is like a stampede of mindless blind cattle.

That is why it is better to have a broader look at this draft class and not have all your visits come down to one or two positions, underestimate what happens and you could find yourself left out and not enough work done on talent that could be value choices. Then you are stuck and being stuck leads to reaches.

Walker in the third is good value. I would be happy with this outcome.

I like it a lot. Think you can get a solid CB4 in the 4th.

This would be great. Taco's a little heavy-footed at times and slow to control 2-gap but I think has the ability to get better and become a big time player. Is he like David Irving? Yeah, I can see that. But Irving is going to get expensive quick if he has any kind of season we are all hoping he has. It might be a tough choice when it comes up, much like Tyrone Crawford.

This would be a great haul. Taco is a plug and play guy from Day 1 and Marcus Williams teamed up with Bryon Jones gives us excellent range in the backend. Williams also gives the team options with Byron in terms if they want to give him some snaps at CB.

Demarcus Walker seems like a bit of an odd fit here but I'm not gonna complain about adding a disruptive lineman like that in the 3rd Round.

So what great CB with potential will be left to draft in the 4th?

Shaquille Griffin, Jeremy Cutrer, Howard Wilson?

Oooh...Ahhh

I'd be fine with any of these guys in the 4th, but as the second corner taken. All 3 of these guys are more developmental guys that need some seasoning. Need a corner in the 1st 2 rounds that can come in and play immediately.
