Probably a sleeper. Went from a number 2 to number one.CeeDee

No, the route tree changed as Dak struggled.Didn’t we see it already?
The most improved player I saw from 21 to 22 was Connor McGovern, easily.
Donovan Wilson was on fire most of the season but he tailed off near the end.
McG looked good in the final few games but I’m not sold on him long term. We’ll see how teams feel about him in FA.
Osa was good his rookie year and didn’t really seem any better last season.
Overall I think I’d go with LVE….dude completely resurrected his career last season.
Is that a championship DT group? I don't think so. There isn't a War Daddy in that group.
Frankly, while they make occasional plays, the entire group disappears at times. Teams run at will against them sometimes.
I don’t think the route tree would’ve saved Rush. He is what he is. He’s shown us.No, the route tree changed as Dak struggled.
We moved to very shallow drag routes to CD, quick slants, and quick off tackle routes to Pollard.
Remember the layered routes? One route 10 yds behind another?
Those were used so with one look Dak could see 2 receivers and hit the open guy, sadly he was off target and the results were poor. Those routes were easy to read, but you need a fairly strong accurate throw.
We dumped those as Dak struggled.
Rush never saw the quick stuff to Pollard and CD with huge RAC.
Sorry but no, most improved was easily by far Vander esch. Can’t argue with the pick . OSA the DT had himself a nice season in the middle of the Cowboys DL. Bring Watkins and Hankins back with a hopefully improving Bohanna . If this position is not addressed in FA I would guess some help for OSA and co should come early in the draft .
From what I saw in Ridgeway was not impressed but he was a late pick didn’t expect much.
MCGovern did improveThe most improved player I saw from 21 to 22 was Connor McGovern, easily.
He probably did but he has been this player before is probably why Osa stood out moreSorry but no, most improved was easily by far Vander esch.
I couldn't agree more. He doesn't have elite lateral movement which makes the faster rushers a bit of a challenge for him. He generally finds a way to at least get a piece of them, but he is "beatable" with speed.I mean I gotta give it up to Steele. He may still be a little lacking as a pass protecting RT but he is near outstanding as a runblocker and I thought his absence showed. And yes, that's with Tyron stepping in for him even.
Most of the board will just adapt whatever they hear and once an early opinion has been formed it basically requires an extended All Pro run to change the narrative.I advocated for bringing him back in FA to keep line continuity and the reaction on this board was overwhelmingly negative towards Re signing him . I had a McGovern thread .
OSA on his way to earning a nice 2nd contract when his rookie deal expires.
Agreed! I think a lot of fans were quick to judge him; after all he had big cleats to fill at center. I thought he was vastly improved from the previous year, and both the Cowboys and the fans perhaps had a greater appreciation for him after his injury.severe lack of Tyler Biadasz appreciation in this thread, he used to be a weak link at center.

McGovern should be brought back if at all possible. He has been much better than the masses "believe".
