2. Dak #3 ranked QB
3. Tyron Smith #7 Tackle
4. Zach - #7 G
5. LVE - #12 LB

Biggest Improvement from last year so far

1. Jeff Heath : Graded out poorly last year at 56.4. So far this year he's at 76.5
2. Maliek Collins : He was at 61.8 in 2018. So far he's at 74.8.
3. La'El - He gets better every year. His grades the past 3 seasons have been, 50.2 , 63.4, 71.2. Right now he's got the highest grade in the NFL at 87.4 among ALL tackles not just right tackles.
4. Dak - Despite the poor showing sunday night he's still grading out much better than the previous 2 seasons. His PFF grades the past 2 seasons have been 72.2 and 74.8. He's at 87.2 right now which is better than his rookie season.
5. Robert Quinn - His grade of 80 in his first 2 games is the best he's played since 2015 by a wide margin.

  1. Jeff is the GOAT
  2. La'el has always been a stud. It took a large salary for everyone to notice.
  3. Tyron is the GOAT
  4. Dak has the highest QBR on the season
  5. LVE, hard to believe there are 11 LBs better than him.
  6. Zack has been slowed by a back issue.
Go Dallas!!!

Quinn has inspired me to take performance enhancers to improve my posting.

Dak didn't even look that bad Sunday. It was his worst game this season, yes, but despite his pocket collapsing, his WR's and TE's dropping and fumbling passes, and a few weird calls, he did okay. Some of his throws could have been better, but I for one, believe this entire team was voodooed.

Did you see the New Orleans game? I mean, that HAS to have some negative effect on rankings. They were awful.

Oh wow they're former scouts now? Do you have proof for that claim?

Here's a Washington Post article about PFF:
https://www.___GET_REAL_URL___/s/www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2017/09/20/__trashed/?outputType=amp

It's primarily about how a ton of people don't like it, and a slew of Chris Collinsworth fluff..but I found this:

"..his company has hired former NFL figures, including longtime assistant coach Gunther Cunningham, former Commanders lineman Will Montgomery, and former Commanders assistant Bobby Slowik.."

So, there's that..

Got no problem with their stats. Their grades are usually worthless and I have never seen Atl here break out the scout claim. Im sure he'll be right on it

Yeah, you and apparently most of the NFL. The article is a pretty good read, there are name drops..players and coaches alike..openly trashing PFF

Its actually former coaches. My bad. lol

"Each game is also graded by a second PFF analyst independent of the first, and those grades are compared by a third, Senior Analyst, who rules on any differences between the two. These grades are verified by the Pro Coach Network, a group of former and current NFL coaches with over 700 combined years of NFL coaching experience, to get them as accurate as they can be"

So, all the grades are verified by former and current NFL coaches. I know, its not quite as accurate as your own recollections and impressions, but its a start.

So what? Of course players don't like PFF and being graded on every play. They only want fans to remember the good ones.

Collingsworth was a pro bowl player and is a really smart guy. Good luck disparaging him.

I take it from your response, you feel I was attacking PFF or Collinsworth or..I don't know, whatever..I'm confused about your angle. Especially since I was attempting to drive your misspoken point home, by my research and picking that tid bit from the article.

The players and coaches, as stated in the article, don't care for it because in their beliefs..the "nerds" at PFF don't know a thing about football.

I enjoy it, as I enjoy all analytics from the game because I myself don't see a ton of the technicalities they "grade"

Again, not sure what or where you're coming from, but I'm assuming you took my post the wrong way.

You offer support to the troll who came on my thread to trash PFF. I'm confused about your angle.

....and just FYI, their is network of former coaches and current players who verify the grades. So, it is not just a bunch of nerds. That belief is bogus.

well honestly to most logical fans it wasn't a poor showing. It wasn't the first 3 weeks but if your going down the list of concerns he certainly dont top the list.He missed 1 throw to Cobb in the end zone and took a bad sack. That said i take PFF with a grain of salt

You said they employed former scouts, he called bs, I offered an article stating they employed previous NFL staff..therefore giving you ammo to fall back on

The original statement, which I quoted, wasn't him trashing PFF, it was him questioning your claim that they staffed former scouts.
