PFF QB Ranking - Dak 17

Dak is better than this, when he plays at his best. Injuries and age are definitely catching up to him. This is probably his last chance to put it back together....if that happens I think he'll have the chance to get over his big game hunt, next year. This year will be a year of growth for the entire team. I feel good moving forward, whether Dak comes along, hinges on his play, this season.
Stop with the negativity. You’re just being a hater. Dak is #1. He wears the star.

Lol...good to see you fixed the post. You were so excited to post this that you jump the gun, like prom night!!
Dak sucks, stop being a homer!

A fair ranking.

Would be higher if he could muster some wins against quality opponents
You have to have a quality team to beat quality opponents. QBs don't do that on their own. The win against the Steelers last year gave me a little hope that his choke factor isn't as bad as I thought.

This is exactly why I'm a fan of the Cowboys rolling the dice on a big play threat like Pickens this offseason. I don't question for a second that Dak still has the ability as we saw as recently as 2023, but it really feels like his hour glass is getting towards the end with how beat up he has been the last 5 or so years. The Brady, Rogers, Brees, etc. types have tricked us into thinking these guys can play nearly forever, but most QBs are still showing serious regression or hanging up the cleats as they get into their 30s. Now is the time to be "all in".

All three of those guys were guys who won something had the skins on the wall. Their claim to fame wasn't 2nd in MVP voting.
Yeah, Tarkenton, Marino, Kelly....bunch of losers. Almost as bad as those losers that can't see beyond their forehead.

"..... he must recapture that 2023 form and prove he can deliver against the league’s best."
Even in 2023 he never proved that he could deliver against the league's best.
ALL QBs lose a few tough games ..........this narrative about Dak can't win big games is confusing coz it paints a broad brush covering regular and postseason games. The truth is, Dak is fine for regular-season games. He can probably get you 10-11 regular-season wins with his eyes closed. Three straight regular seasons at 12-5 isn't luck and to say he had 36 'easy' games over that span is silly. That's the regular season on which OP ranking is based.

Playoffs???????? Different convo and post but one word........struggling

before a late-season collapse ended his MVP bid. In 2024, the Cowboys stumbled early,

and prove he can deliver against the league’s best.

Late season collapse. Stumble early. Prove himself against the best. The story of Daks career.

Fool's gold

None of those guys were touting their biggest accomplishment as 2nd in MVP voting either.
Dak isn't either...fans are doing that and blind mice take it and run. Post one clip of Dak bragging about this....you can't. Take the hater goggles off and just talk football without getting all worked up. Its much more enjoyable

You're right, but it takes a lot of talent to get that chance. If anyone says otherwise, they are haters or ignorant.
