Pick one.
>Sam Bradford in your top 5 players
Pick one.
25. New York Giants
Top five players: WR Odell Beckham Jr., DE Olivier Vernon, DTDamon Harrison, DE Jason Pierre-Paul, DT Johnathan Hankins
Starters who should be upgraded: OT Ereck Flowers, OG John Jerry, OTMarshall Newhouse, TE Larry Donnell, DE Devon Kennard, LB Keenan Robinson, S Landon Collins
Weakness in the secondary.
Draft RB.
Drink.
Weakness is dline. Dallas is proably in the bottom 5.
"Claiborne appears likely to start again despite four straight seasons of negative PFF grading and no year in which he allowed lower than 61.5 percent of targets sent his way."
Ouch.
Having said that, 12th in terms of roster ranking isn't bad and plenty good enough to be Superbowl worthy.
You don't fixate on positions for need in the draft anyway. You flush any and all of that nonsense. That's a talent acquisition exercise. It's all about opportunity and the opportunity was there to add an elite talent who just happened to be a RB.
Same thing in the 2nd round. The elite talent happened to be a LB. The Cowboys didn't know they'd be making these two picks until they were on the clock to make them. Maybe at 4 they could project but certainly not at 34.
They have learned nothing from the Commanders and RG3.
Not exaggerating, not being biased because it's the Eagles... but they might have one of the worst rosters in the league. Probably bottom 3. Their best player is who, Fletcher Cox? Their skill positions alone probably are the worst in the league. Jordan Matthews is their number 1 WR? Ryan Matthews and 33 year old Sproles at RB? lol
I wouldn't trade any single one of our top 10 players for any single one of their top 5. Our top 10 (according to me)...Romo, Dez, Tyron, Frederick, Martin, Lee, Witten, Elliott, Collins, Bailey. Seriously, I wouldn't trade La'el Collins for any one of their players.
This is probably the biggest miscalculation and just incorrect sports article I've read. The only one worse was an NBA article last offseason where 5 out of the 7 writers predicted the Mavericks to finish last in the Western Conference.
Flash and splash.
