And someone pointed out it's not that unusual a number. Back in 2011, Romo targeted him like 110 times and also had a huge number of uncatchable balls.
This is where PFF is kind of silly because they rarely provide context.
I don't recall that at all.
It was mentioned in another thread discussing this same topic.
So hearsay? I still don't recall that and groupthink being what it is I don't see any reason to give the assertion credence.
No actual stats from PFF from both 2017 and 2011.
2017 - 102 targets, 60 catchable, 42 uncatchable, 53 catches, 7 drops
2011 - 103 targets, 64 catchable, 39 uncatchable, 63 catches, 1 drop

So it's an indictment on Dez? Dak? Both?
I'm starting to lose track.
If you can't open twitter it says.
"Dez Has 102 targets this season, with 53 catches, per PFF 60 of those targets were uncatchable"
I wouldn't say worthless but it's hard to tell the story. We don't know if Dez or dak have a miscommunication and dez makes a wrong turn causing the timing of an anticipation route to be way off. Just thought it was interesting.PFF has repeatedly been shown to be worthless on these types of subjective stats.
