Scott Turner is related to Norv Turner and he is a product of the rhythm time based offense that was Kellen Moore - why would we bring that back and under an even lesser , ineffective OC.

We want less decision making from Dak and our receivers, WCO is where we have to go. It also will be nice to have a screen game and use our RB as a receiver.

I honestly think we are to see a combination of WCO and a strong run game..........this is what Payton said about Russell Wilson

“Russell is a hard worker and has played at a high level and won a lot of games in this league,” Payton told Jeff Duncan of nola.com. “The pressure is on us to put a good run game together and reduce the degree of difficulty on his position. I’m excited about him.”

Good article. I like the sounds of Slowik and Robinson. Would love to see a fresh face and dread it being McApoo. Can live with Schottenheimer if Mike is calling plays. But getting a hold of one of the guys from the Shanahan/McVay tree would be neat.

Clearly fixing their run game appears to be their priority as they fired/let go their OL, RB coaches. Their 1st interview is with a run based oc.

I'm against McAdoo purely for the aesthetics of it.

Yep, I'm that shallow.

same rule doesn't apply to offensive linemen, obviously, since I'd be for drafting the NDSU OT and moving him to guard.

I'm loving the combination of Brain Sshottenhiemer and Bobby Slowik. Say no to Mcadoo.......In fact, hard no (lol)

Top candidates for Dallas Cowboys to replace Kellen Moore as offensive coordinator

• Mike McCarthy taking over as play caller: While the Dallas Cowboys are in the market for a new offensive coordinator, play-calling won't be on that position's list of duties, as McCarthy appears to be taking the reins on offense.

• Retread candidates: Both Brian Schottenheimer and Scott Turner have the kind of offensive coordinator experience that Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy can rely on if hired.

• Young up-and-comers: Even though Zac Robinson and Bobby Slowik don't have any offensive coordinator experience, both could inject some cutting-edge wrinkles that could help optimize the Cowboys' offense moving forward
lets try of the 2 young guns

zac robinson,rams...love to see what he and coach mccarthy could come up with...dak is excellent with fake handoffs...rams love to use play-action.
rams use pre-snap motions...and when mccarthy was o.c.,i believe he used them also...be an interesting pairing.
Zac Robinson is my vote because of his coaching tree and the unique offense the Rams use. CeeDee getting Cooper Kupp routes? Sign me up for that.

I also like the idea of the Panthers OC coming in to Coordinate the run game.

Get those two guys and let's roll.

No one with Kingsbury's resume is likely to be interested in an OC* job... they're looking to call plays, imo.
I don’t get the fascination with Kingsbury, the man has a losing record at both college and pros.

yet it was dak who went to bat for kellen to get the o.c. job to begin with.

this place,man.

Multiple comments every day on this forum making Moore the primary culprit for Daks shortcomings

I didn't say Dak was scapegoating Moore. But Daks loyal minions certainly are

And they'll give the next OC the same treatment as well

they'll give everyone that treatment.
the new oc.
mccarthy.
dak.
ceedee lamb.
gallup.
dlaw.
diggs.
hell...even micah parsons got crap from some posters.
whoever we draft at pick 26...he's slow...not a scheme fit...over drafted...blah blah blah.
and holy hell if the eagles win.
here comes more of the decade of dominance nonsense.
so it doesnt matter who the next QB is...they won't like him any more than dak.
same for new hc.
same for new oc.
the miserable are never happy.
they crapped on amari..
then sang his praises once traded.
now its kellen moore.
he gets dumped...after many calling for it...now we'll rue the day.
yet he was never hailed by the ones hailing him now.
this place,man.
