The Cowboys secondary will be better than the Eagles this year and it won't be close. Slay started to slip at the end of the 2022 season and Bradberry is overrated. Bradberry had 1 good year with the Giants too then fell off the table. But who is behind Slay and Bradberry? The Cowboys are deeper at CB and have better safeties.

The Eagles secondary is protected by the Eagle DL. They can pressure the QB with 4 or 5 guys and get pressure up the middle which helps the secondary a lot.

I think it is more of how the Eagles are constantly over rated, every year, regardless of their talent level.
Yes they went to the SB, but they lost like 5 starters on their defense. But yet the media won't mention that, but they will mention other teams being weaker that lost 1 player.
The Jets were ranked 1. The dolphins 2

That doesn't seem to bother anyone.

If it’s based on last year’s results it makes sense. I don’t think PFF does opponent adjusted stats. Look at the qbs the Eagles faced last year. Whenever they faced a good qb ((Rodgers, Dak, Mahomes), they got roasted. But aside from those 3 (not here to make a Dak argument, but his numbers were excellent vs Philly), the Eagles faced a bunch of chumps. They were also ahead a lot due to their offense and could unleash the pass rush, which obviously helps the secondary.

This is the same PFF that said Jack Campbell wasn't a great athlete?

Perhaps....but if you are owner of PFF...who's whole company revolves around ranking players and things.. you wanna shut down ur business for large chunks of the year?

They just texted me....and ranked that idea 500 billion out of the 5 trillion ideas people everywhere have had today worldwide

Hey top 10 % !!!
I was specifically speaking about the site where we find ourselves. The Zone. I understand this is the off season. Believe I even mentioned it in my comment. The off season and content is the problem of PFF. Their rankings, like all the others coming from every content provider is to get something in front of fans. Regardless if they can find their butts with a road map and a tour guide.

I have never once heard americans in other part of the country think any more OR less of people in Texas than people from any other state

Occasionally Alabamy or West VA might catch some grief.... even NewYorkers or New Jersey

But I think people view Texas like they view New Mexico or Colorodo or Illinois or Vermont. Just a state where people live.

I don't think people really care one way or the other
Not at all bro. The entire country is nauseated at Texas politics.

Oh....well a large chunk of people don't give a rip about politics one way or the other.

Probably just the ones that do...are super loud about it.

Besides...TX is like a mini version of the country: very diverse ideologically. Some cities very blue...other parts with nothing but red.

Not my thing either way

Oh. Well good luck getting knuckleheads like me to not post on it.

What are the other alternatives rigjt now: hey I think Dak is Top 10. No, dak is NOT top 10 and you're dumb. No YOUR dumb.

Hence...rankings.

Not what I found in the living in the Northeast and New England but glad to hear your opinion. I personally caught grief for my Texas accent and that spilled over with remarks about Texas.

All is cool. It is just my opinion afterall.

Yep....there's dorks everywhere. Maybe I'm just not aware of it. My bro is in TX....and is as blue as they come. Austin though....so some cities different than others

Just a suggestion.

Shouldn't a game or two be played in regular season before any of these lists have meaning?

This is the deadest time of the year for pro football except for perhaps the month after the Super Bowl.
No, we need lists during this dead portion of the season in order to survive, why do you feel compelled to ask this?
