I think they signed Darby and Fuller to decent deals. Nothing ground breaking. Fuller signed a 1 year deal. I just see a lot of noise out of Denver surrounding Horn and Surtain.

PFN is giving Surtain to the Panthers and dropping Pitts down to 10 almost every time I use that thing (sometimes Slater, but mostly Pitts). Does that happen to anyone else? I feel like some developer is just messing with me over there.

Front 7 really falls off after 3rd-4th round what is left in 5 and below is a lot of development talent.

Bobby Brown DT looks like a body builder playing DT and he'll be there in the 4th round. He's also got a great head on his shoulders. Also Marvin Wilson who Fish says Cowboys are looking at in the 2nd or 3rd is there very late in PFN but might make it to round 4 though I doubt it. I also like the Oline that are there in mid to late 4, Guard Brown from Bama, Meinerz??? lumberjack center.

Only in your own mind does this make any sense.

The offense doenst have to play catch up if the defense doesnt let the other team score.

Does it really matter if an offense doenst score the first few times it gets the ball if it scores 37 points the rest of the way?

The logic that some of you people come up with to justify taking Pitts is astounding.

Just say you love Pitts and he is an incredible talent and leave it at that. Just dont pretend that taking Pitts over defense is helping the defense.

If you look at the history of drafting TE’s high, whether it’s Eric Ebron or Tony freaking Gonzalez, they’re going to have very little impact on a team until they’re complete and competing for titles.

even the best TE ever isn’t as valuable as a solid Olineman or Dlineman for a rebuilding team.

The Oline talent seems to be pretty "deep" once you get away from the first 2 rounds. There is very little difference between Round 3 OT and Round 7 except technique and some measurables and competition played against. But to fix the glaring holes will need to be addressed rounds 1-3 if you want some what ready talent.

It happens to me a lot. Hope it is a sign because I would take him in heartbeat. In fact as soon as the Broncos pick and we are on the board I would unplug all the phones in the war room so Jerry wouldn't be able to take any trades and send in the pick immediately. I would tell Goodell to stay right here on stage we have our pick. I watched a draft special on some draftees and he was on it and he just seemed to be just a genuine down to earth guy who loves football. I want that type of player on my team.

I find Surtain to Carolina a lot in this. No way Pitts is going to fall to 10.

I do like when it slips Moehrig to me at #44 though.

If Surtain is gone by 10, trade down period. Nothing else makes sense. Esp. if Pitts or Sewell (sp) are still there, someone will pay a premium to trade up for one of them. Selecting either one does nothing for the Cowboys. Trade down, get the picks and try to fix the D. Anything else is just plain stupid.

I'm far more concerned about the mid to late rounds than those that come early. We tend to falter when it gets past the third round. Sure would be a welcomed change to see that routine become a thing of the past. Let's hope Jerry and son allow the scouts to do what they do best.

Doing a PFN draft right now. Miami took Pitts at 6. Surtain went at 9 to the Chargers after they traded with Denver.

I traded down with Arizona and took Farley after Horn was gone.
