do you know how this has gone? CeeDee has the same agent as Jefferson. CeeDee was NOT signing before Jefferson unless the Cowboys gave him 32 million per season... prior to Jefferson signing. And if they did, you all would be slamming the Cowboys for giving him tat outrageous contract.
Who said they are refusing to sign him? But are they supposed to just bend over and give him exactly what he asks for? Thats not how contract negotiations work.

The Cowboys’ challenge is to pay him what he thinks he’s worth or convince him he’s not worth what he thinks he is.

yes, if they want to sign him, they will now be paying north of 32 mil per year.

The only leverage the Cowboys had was to sign him earlier. They chose to let things play out, and now yesterday’s price is no longer today’s price.

If they don’t want to pay him— trade him. What they CANNOT do is the one thing they are committed to doing— is sit on their hands

What if he doesn’t want to do a long term deal if current QB1 is still here. After the debacle of playoff game and Moms comments, its something to consider.
I know the Stat padders will refute it wholeheartedly but it is possible.
